I love a curt New York attitude, and I know some people mistake New York charm for apathy. I can say the bartenders here are genuinely some of the rudest customer service people I have met at any restaurant in my life. A quick search of this bars reviews tells me they have an intrinsic problem and not a few bad apples. Service is excellent. Stayed here 4 days and used our credit for various items.

The prices are outrageous no doubt. $11 for a beer?? Typical for NYC but nonetheless outrageous

The service was subpar and the bartenders were rude. They added auto grat on our bill which only consisted of drinks (and it is not mentioned on the menu that they will take auto grat on drinks, only on food). Got an attitude when we asked them to remove it (since it was not supposed to be added to our bill and we wanted to leave our own tip) and verbally showed annoyance, which I felt was poor hospitality.
