If you’re looking for trendy and Instagramable environment, this is not it. Looking for big portions and very good Mexican food, we found it!We had the green enchiladas: text book with lots of meat. The fish tacos we huge and 3 for less than $20. Beers are all $7 or $8 bucks too! Whodathunkit in UES?Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for strollers… and they have gringo basics like burgers
Absolutely delicious gourmet level authentic ceviche, carnitas michuacan (with amazing juice orange), cochinitas pibil (a Yucatan specialty you rarely see in restaurants). Nice people, spacious, family friendly but also fun vibe. Amazing place. I wonder if people hear the name "The Red Grill" and assume it's a more generic restaurant and miss that it's A+ Mexican... I was so surprised when I first came and wow all my relatives with this place.
