“This is my first ever Google review of anything … but think it is important to let people know that Tommys Tacos at the Old Big H shopping Center is doing everything right. Last week I hosted a poker tournament for 16 guys and went to Tommy’s Based upon my own Experience with his food as well as my Guests … who are all “foodies” and endorsed the decision. We rotate the game once a month and each month someone cooks or caters and in the the 5 years of the league (60 games) everyone agrees that Tommy’s knocked it out of the park. I worked with Bella in Catering but Tommy was good enough to step in and make the perfect selection. We went with a Tray pf Birria Tacos … Tray of Mixed Burritos … Street Salad topped with Blackened Shrimp … Chips … Salsa … Guacamole. We picked it up and the packaging was incredible in Tommy’s Tacos Boxes … Tommy even helped take it to the car. He treats his staff and customers right and it shows in the finished product. We have a lot of choices in town … but if you do not hit Tommy’s … you are missing the best Mexican in Town. They have recently added a bar and the servers are always incredible. Also … plenty of parking. If you are doing Shop Right … Home Depot … you have to stop in and get at least a Birria Taco and Margharita … it will remain your Staple for Mexican in Huntington. I also want to add … there was enough food to last all night and into the morning. The next day I took the left overs to a friends job site and fed three other guys who agreed … best they ever had … it it was a day old!!! Tommy also took my call the next day when I had the question … what is the best way to warm up and serve the next day. Again .. in Tommy you have a guy that is great and proud of what he does and does not over prove what he has to offer.“

“The wife and I stopped in for date night during Bayshore restaurant week. It's a nice spot, cozy environment, table spread is a good distance away from the next, it's clean and comfortable. They do get busy so get there early or make a reservation. We had the seasonal spread and shoshito pepper appetizers which were both very good, lots of flavor. I ordered the Shrimp and grits and even though I've never been a grits eater, I was pleasantly surprised. The shrimp and grits was incredibly good and had a ton of flavor. I ordered a classic margarita which was executed perfectly and the wife enjoyed her salad and mocktails as well. I would highly recommend this place and am certainly going back! “I messed up. Hermanas has been open 4 years and I finally stopped in. To say the food is excellent is an understatement. I had the best Cuban sandwich in years. No place around matches this place. “This place is the best hibachi restaurant my family and I have ever gone too. The manager Chris and chef Jason are amazing! Everytime we go there they remember us and our kids and always greet us with smiles. Chef Jason remembering our little ones name, makes her feel so special. They literally have the best food and drinks. Would recommend this place to everyone.Kid-friendliness: They keep the kids engaged during the whole cooking show and even make them balloon animals at the end!“

“Kerber's is an adorable, idyllic farm stand in the middle of Huntington. Everything I've ever had from there is delicious! The eggs on a biscuit is delightful as is or even more decadent with cheese and bacon added. The carrot farm muffin blew me away! (I am admittedly a huge carrot muffin fan). I have always been helped relatively quickly and the food comes out in a timely manner. I recommend to locals or visitors! I look forward to trying a class there at some point“

“First time at Duck Donuts today. There were so many choices! It took us a while to decide. Got 2 donuts and 2 breakfast sandwiches. And a frappe. Everything was so delicious! The guys behind the counter were really helpful (and patient). It was pretty cool watching them prepare your food while you wait. The donuts were warm and cooked perfectly! And the sandwiches were really good, especially with their maple drizzle on top. Highly recommended! I have been eating Chinese Food since I had teeth and could chew, this is by far the best Chinese Food I've ever eaten, Staff was very friendly and accommodating, will definitely be back. “I am so happy that they expanded their hours. I would always get to Babylon after work around 6 PM and they were always closed. I was happy to catch them. I was one of the last people to get their rainbow cookie Whoopie pie for the day. Definitely my favorite. So good! They should put two small, cute little tables in that alley, so that people can sit and eat their Whoopie pies because at the moment they really isn't an ambience. Overall, very unique and cool spot with delicious Whoopie pies!“

“Thai Green Leaf is my favorite. The staff is unbelievably friendly and they always make my order how I love it (pad thai with dried tofu, extra lime). I have had occasion to place a few large orders (I am trying to introduce all my friends to the deliciousness) and everything is always fresh and fantastic). “I had my baby shower at Goldy's Gems in November of 2023 and was absolutely thrilled by the customer service, food and atmosphere. Our guests raved about the food and how their glass was never empty, thanks to the chef, servers/bartenders! It's such a trendy place and gives off awesome vibes. We enjoyed the shower so much, that we wanted to hold our son's Baptism at another one of the restaurant groups locations. We chose to have the event at Post Office cafe and once again they knocked our socks off. We were fans just on an ordinary day, so we just knew the events would be even better and we were right. Melissa, Chris, Chris and our servers/bartender once again were amazing in every way. During our planning we also found out they just had a renovation in our event room that made it look so bright and welcoming. The staff is extremely accommodating, especially on the day of when it comes to decor setup. We were able to bring our decor earlier in the day and then have someone set up about a half hour-hour early so that when our guests arrived all was in its place. The staff at Post Office even offered to assist with some setup as long as it was simple placement. If you are ever in need of an event space, I would highly suggest Post Office Cafe and Goldy's Gems or any restaurant in this restaurant group, you just can't go wrong!“

“Babylon Burger Bar or Better Business Bureau?sits at the corner of Deer Park Road and Main Street in the Babylon township NY. A Charming Town filled with its nestalgic turn of the century buildings, old church that still uses bells to chime in the hour, Old style Mom n Pop Coffee shops and clothing stores. Parking for this restaurant is metered but at just 25¢ per hour at a 2 hour max I felt as though I was still alive in the 1950s. THAT'S A STEAL??I arrived at 1pm on a Friday afternoon day of March 2024, a time that is a lot less crowded to meet a buddy from work over a conversation and a Burger ?. I ordered one of their speciality burgers with American Cheese lettuce tomatoes pickles, Truffle Fries sprinkled with mozzarella cheese, Cole slaw, and a Ginger ale. I said wait a minute THE BURGER IS DELICIOUS and juicy. The Cole slaw needed a little help and tasted a bit dry. The truffle fries were good as well and came with their dipping sauce but instead I just stuck with Old Reliable Ketchup and they went down just as good. This restaurant has a lot more to offer than just my burger experience judging by it's menu variety, I will definitely have to come back for something different next time.There are no deafening absorbing materials on the ceiling that would at least absorb some of the loud patron chatter coming from the other tables. I was seated at the bar and their conversations were so loud at times, I would have to ask my friend repeat what he just said to me. “I have been stalking thier Google reviews and pics for years but could never bring myself to spend that kind of money for one meal. Now let's get down to the truth... I pulled the trigger and it was money well spent. I have never tasted anything so tender and perfectly seasoned hood to under carriage. The flavors penetrated throughout the whole duck and flavor profile is.... just good; it works. Order extra baos if you have bigger family. I added 2 sides of baos, but one extra bao order was good for our family of 5. I was not a fan of the ckn and beef dumplings, the addition of corn takes away from it for me. Veggie dumplings were good.“

But if you ask me the Chicken Alla Vodka was DELICIOUS! Special thanks to Jasmine our server, she was such a pleasure to be around, very efficient, happy, and polite. We decided on Thai Basil Lindenhurst.Food:We ordered the curry samosas, and vegetables chicken dumplings as an appetizer. The chicken and vegetable dumplings were delicious. The veggies gave them a nice crunch and the chicken was seasoned well.The coating on the samosas was too airy. You could tell they weren't homemade. The filling was lacking potato. The samosas were the only food i wasn't crazy about.I ordered the Garlic Chicken entree. The spice was perfect. Decent amount of chicken. I don't like mushrooms, but whatever they did to cook them dried them out a bit and made them slightly chewy, but in a good way. I enjoyed them. A lot of bamboo shoots. I mixed my rice in and it made it even better.Service:The service was okay. The staff was friendly. Food came out fast and correct, but we had to call someone over for a water refill and for the check. If we didn't we would've been there a while. Otherwise, no issues.Atmosphere:The restaurant was quiet, but kinda boring. There's a lot of space and it looks clean. Its just kinda empty. Came here for dinner on a Saturday, and even though it was crowded, we still got a table rather fast.For an appetizer, we got K-Mac Sliders, which were delicious and probably the best thing of the night.For dinner, we got a chirashi platter, which, was very nice and featured some great fish. They don't list what your getting, which is a little annoying, but the fish was good and fresh.Service was good, and the ambiance is rather basic, but nice.“
