“Had lunch here today for the first time and everything was excellent! Went with a group and we ordered appetizers to share. Mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, potato wontons, onion rings, everything pretzel and fried mozzarella — delicious!!! We were seated right away and the waitress was very friendly and efficient. “I cannot say enough about the Library Cafe, the staff and the food! We had a 50th Birthday Party in the upstairs private room overlooking the bar. The food was delicious and there was PLENTY of it! The bar/wait staff was both attentive and quick getting to all of us! The party was perfect right down to the music which they let us pick! Definitely having more events at the Library!“

“Tucked in a small shopping center on Hicksville Road, is this cozy place! We met another couple there for dinner and drinks. The food was excellent! We had the sauerbraten from the Octoberfest menu, the pot roast hero, and the schnitzel. Everything was fresh and tasty. The portions were generous, and the drinks were flowing. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. This was our first time here, but we’ll be back.“

“Was hungry, so I went out by myself.
Ordered 1/2 $ appetizers (10pm on).
- Chicken nuggets (Asian flavor)
- Chicken quesadilla
Nuggets were fine. Accompanying Ranch dressing was disappointing, so waitress brought me blue cheese dressing (better!)
Lost a star on the Quesadilla as the IRL version looked so unlike their advertised version. Will add photos for difference. Forgot to take IRL photo upon it/their arrivals, but you can definitely see the lack of advertised components.
Flavor was tasty, but lack of innards meant less filling, so I wound up ordering a second Quesadilla. (Though I took >50% home)
Tipped based on the full appetizer amount. My waitress was very nice, professional and helpful.“

“I wanted to Thank Everyone at the Sunrise Diner for all the years they made my Parents feel like family whenever they went there. My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. The service is the best we've ever had. They've treated my Family like Family. I cannot thank the People at the Sunrise Diner enough! They mean so much to my Family. And you can't beat their food!!! I've never had a bad meal their. Love all of you. Hope to get back to Wantagh soon and see you all! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH♥️“

“I went there for my friends retirement party. It was fantastic. The food service n decor was A+. The appetizer dinner m dessert was pre selected but it was delicious n suitable. I choose the chicken cacciatore. It came was mash n long string beans DELICIOUS..The dessert was a trio of little renditions of strawberry cheesecake, chocolate moose cake. Carrot cake. And conoli . Everything was perfect“

“Vietnamese food was something that took a long time to get to Nassau County. I use to only get it when on business trips. Now I come here as often as I can. Every item on the menu is excellent. Beef Pho is so good! Atmosphere is nice and clean and the service are great too. I'm going again today!“

“The chef Francisco is a fine chef and his food tastes great. I have eaten here about 5xs already and he never disappoints. I highly recommend the tacos 🌮. I have also eaten the skirt steak which was delicious. He has a very nice presentation on all dishes. They also have fresh baked breads and the waitresses are all very nice and friendly. The dining area is nice and there is music playing and sometimes live entertainment. I want to try every dish on the menu. The restaurant has the potential to be a real gold mine because the food is definitely on point.“

“This place does mainly a takeout business, there are 3 small tables to wait in if desired, but it is noisy and there is a lot of Doordash/uber eats activity in and out, and for good reason: the food is consistently excellent and the quantity served makes it a terrific value. The salads are terrific and we love that you can not only get chicken souvlaki chunks or chicken gyro meat on salads or platters and both are terrific. Tzatziki - amazing. If you're a fan of baklava, theirs is better than most bakeries around. Spanakopita is also excellent. Think of it is restaurant quality but in takeout form. We absolutely love the guys who run the place, very friendly, very gracious. There aren't that many Greek places in Nassau that hit it out of the park for us, but these guys do, every time. Go!“
