“I haven’t a terrible experience with the staff, although some of them seem a bit clueless sometimes. Overall, pretty good food, but I also agree with others that you should add sauce to your plate just in case if the meat does taste dry. Also want to point out another recent reviewer here is being ignorant by calling one of their foods, “fake pizzas”, they’re called pides. Please be informed before making a review.“

“My Wife and I saw this place while shopping at the Roosevelt Field Mall and never had it, so we decided to try. The server was very nice to us and gave us some suggestions and what was popular. We got the Works and Bacon Double chesse hot dogs and the pull pork poutine fries. The food was very delicious. We will definitely come back again for there food. Great job.“

“The Jerk chicken platter and hot wings make this halal stand out compared to others. Always have to get one or the other. The fried fish is amazing as well. The Halal eats burger is fine dining quality.
The portions is outstanding for the price. Never been disappointed with any item.
There is a wait time for items that are not a platter due to being made fresh to order so be prepared for that.
I hope this place keeps its quality and stays open forever.

Parking: The store front is located on a corner with both sides being a no-standing bus stop. But it is Queens so of course if you’re just going to pick up the food it’s perfectly fine. But during busy times those spots may be taken which leads to parking all the way down by Dunkin’ Donuts or in the parking lot of Stop & Shop across the street.
I’be never had an issue but something to be aware of if you’re not from the area.“

“We placed an order for a smash burger without the cheese - the restaurant accidentally put cheese on it and I was quite upset because we confirmed it many times (lactose intolerance)… the person who helped me was super super nice, he re-made the entire order AND had it delivered to us for free, AND was nice enough to add courtesy drinks. Genuinely it felt it was really sincere an apology and I actually really appreciated that. Will definitely order from them again (maybe I’ll just check my order next time though). “First time trying K-Munchies. Came in with my 3yo son and instantly greeted by the husband of the adorable husband-wife duo. Ordered the single smash burger and twist donut with Umma's coffee. He was such a humble and kind soul and even offered for me to wait in the car to which he would bring out the food for us but we opted to wait inside for the food and had a great conversation and a few laughs. Food came out quick and was delicious. Whatever that smashburger sauce is was so good. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed the twist donuts. If you're in the neighborhood and need some comfort food to warm up the soul or be a glutton with a good ol' smashburger, this is the place to be. You also get a bonus of genuinely awesome people serving you.“

“I love this place. It has amazing Venezuelan empanadas, patacones, arepas rellenas, and so much more. On weekends, you can enjoy hervidos 🥰 I come here ever time I can and it brings me back ❤️❤️❤️ customer service is excellent. If you have never tried Venezuelan food, you should order the combos. If you need to bring something to a summer party, bring a bunch of tequeños. The kids will eat them by the dozen.“

“This place was so YUMMY! The chicken was thick and juicy. I got the medium spice level and felt it was perfect. I have a high spice tolerance and may go for the medium hot next time. I got the 2 sliders with a side of Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese is just velvetta but it’s yummy comfort food.“

Beef & chicken is chopped up into cubed not served like patties (you would get from the truck )
New - Clean restaurant /not like the board of health violation the truck was.

Prices are less then the food truck

“Stopped here on a whim. My wife and I were going over to Texas Chicken and Burgers across the way for tenders, but saw the sign for this establishment and decided to come inside. We were rewarded by the very friendly service and great food. We got chicken over rice platters and an order of 4 lemon pepper tenders. Let me say that the amount of food they give you for $9.95, is greater that what one of the more visible Halal chains give you for $14.95. And it was just as good, if not better. The fried chicken tenders are amazing! They came out hot, fresh and were HUGE. Much bigger and less expensive than at the Wingstop a few blocks down the street.

We USED to go to Wingstop & Halal Bros. No longer. This is our spot.“

“Tried it today after contemplating for a while. The server answered any questions I had and has a very friendly and approachable demeanor.Coming from the Island background of Jamaica I tried the Curry chicken wrap. It was so good, it didn't need no sauce. The server recommended the Butter chicken, and I came back 2 hours later to try it and he remembered my order. The food is freshly made to order. “Came in once last week and once yesterday, a bit later during the night. Since it was this late on a Sunday I didn’t expect the food to taste that fresh. Despite this, I still got my order tasting fresh and arriving quick (<5 mins) and could see workers diligently cleaning in the kitchen and a younger man wiping down all the tables, sweeping the floors and cleaning the bathroom. I had went inside the bathroom after he was done and it was spotless, something I would never expect to see from a fast food place. The manager was very nice and I could tell he’s trained his workers well. Will be coming agian.“

“Went here with my friends. We all enjoyed it. One of my friends mentioned this place being like subways(without Jared) but for pizza because of the options you have. I agree and honestly I can see the appeal. The pizza is definitely isn't the best in Queens but it's pretty decent and its very affordable. My buds shared a whole pie(plus some garlic breadsticks) and we spent around 25 dollars in total. Plus drinks are free if you are a student so that's a plus. If you are walking around the fresh meadows area, I'd give this place a try. Especially if you aren't alone.“

- The quality of the salads is always fantastic. It's great that they include the lemon and bread. The dressing is good quality

CONS
- They ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS forget something. Whether its the bread, the extra dressing on the side that I ordered, the lemon, etc.
- Adding additional protein makes almost no difference at all somehow. I ordered a ceasar salad with grilled chicken and it was not enough chicken the first time. So next time I ordered one with 2x extra chicken - I could NOT even tell the difference? Am I being charged extra for what seems to be the same order? Cmon guys“

“Comparing all burgers in the fast casual space my standouts are Five Guys, Shake Shack, and In-N-out. The burgers are in no way as pretty as the latter 2 options but they more than make up for it in taste and in my opinion value.

I do enjoy the complimentary peanuts and the fact that when ordering online, your fries are only then put to fry to ensure freshness. It's not complicated because it doesn't need to be and if you hold it to that standard I think five guys is a great burger and alternative option to some of the other franchise chains in the country.

They get my order wrong sometimes and sometimes when they send it, the tacos are sticking to the bottom and they’re a little bit soggy and cold when they get here but that’s licleh DoorDash’s fault. Also very upset that they discontinued the blue raspberry freeze. That was the greatest item of all time I’m a bit disappointed.“
