“Food was delicious I got the chicken roasted pepper panini with cheddar cheese came with cole slaw fries and a pickle my cousin got the chicken souvlaki wrap which also came with fries cole slaw and a pickle for takeout. “I can honestly say this restaurant, is by far, our favorite place to dine. From the intimacy of the dining areas, the attentive staff and incredible cuisine. Many time you go out to eat where one of the courses is good. Here EVERYTHING is amazing. From appetizer to dessert it's all delicious. The hardest decision is what to order. My favorite is the cheese soufflé as a starter then the Beef Wellington and finish with their amazing chocolate soufflé. Our go to for special occasions or just a night out to spoil one self. “The Sesame Seed Restaurant has been a favorite of our family, could it be over thirty years? We had a favorite waitress for many years. She had a wonderful smile and was lovely. The food is always good and the ambiance is like walking back in time. I would love it if they had gluten-free pasta options. I miss eating gnocchi and the raviolette!“

“Nestled in the corner next to the DeCicco Family Market in Katonah, NY is an unexpected pleasure called the Farmhouse Tavern. The upscale feel from the rich earthy tones, period moldings, and tin ceiling all heighten ones expectations. The talented chef and personable and attentive bar tender, Nick, delivered on every level. We started with Steamed Clams bathed in an aromatic broth of garlic, chorizo, shallots, and white wine. It was so good we asked for more bread and made certain little was left behind. For our entrees, I chose Faroe Island Salmon with a tasty dijon mustard sauce, sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes. It was a perfect compliment to the Steamed clams. My partner chose their Lump Crabment Ravioli in a Brown Butter and Sage Sauce. The flavors danced on our tongues and were beyond sublime in taste. We had no room for dessert and look forward to returning and adding that in too. They offer live music from time to time, so you may luck out big one Thursday night. The dining room, beautifully decorated for spring, was quiet with only one other table.We enjoyed the Burrata and Beet Salad, a delightful mix of pickled and roasted beets, hazelnuts, and creamy burrata on a bed of greens. I loved the composition of this spring salad.While the Wagyu burger was flavorful, the excessive dressing on the bottom bun made it somewhat messy to eat. The bun was also cut very unevely, the bottom bun wet from the dressing and there was just too bread on top. DH thought the fries were very salty but I like salty fries.Nevertheless, service was efficient, and we're eager to explore more of the menu on our next visit.“
