“We did the Wednesday prix fixe menu and it was amazing. It truly felt to be like I was eating art. I don't know the name of the chef, but you can tell they are exceptional. The attention to detail in each dish made it obvious the chef is passionate about what they create. The flavors were unique, the atmosphere upscale yet comforting, and the service was lovely. We had a wonderful time.“

“We hosted my daughter‘s bridal shower at J Law and it was everything we hoped for. Clara, Megan, and the entire team were attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the day. The private event space was ideal, spacious, welcoming, and flexible enough for us to personalize with our own decor. The food was delicious. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere made everyone feel at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for another celebration. “For a restaurant that is so close to 5 star you can literally taste it. They definitely try hard to give you a perfect dining experience and that's commendable. The shock factor for this establishment was it's loud and partitions or background music isn't going to change that, so you lose a bit of intimacy. However if it's decent quisine you are looking for you may be in the right spot. The breaded and fried chicken was good and done correctly however the panko was retaining the flavor of the oil rather than it's own. The brussel sprouts were good but honestly it can do without the bacon bits(that were really hard for some reason). Too many minor nuance's for a five star but I believe the potential is there!“

“A real gem just over the New Canaan CT line in Vista NY, a tiny hamlet in the town of Lewisboro in Westchester County. Family owned and operated for decades, this restaurant serves a great selection of meats, fish and Italian food, all perfectly prepared. Sons are the waiters with perfect attitudes and personalities and very attentive performance. Indoor/outdoor dining and a fireplace enhance the experience. “Wonderful place for farm to table Mexican food. Liz, our waitress was assertive and pleasant. Before 730 there’s a lot of children and if you look quickly, you might feel like you’re at Chuck E. Cheese but that changes as the evening goes on. The desserts are absolutely wonderful scratch made. Highly recommend the gluten-free coconut almond cake with chocolate and nuts on top. Everything we ate on the menu was incredible. The tamales were delicious and we loved the brisket tacos and the pulled pork tacos. It’s incredible that they use Berkshire pork. We are both chefs and really appreciate the quality. We’d love the cucumber margaritas that were on special that night.“
