The type of place you might pass by Michaelcomkng out of the bathroom on his way to deal with sallozzo and McClusky.Apps from spicy oysters rock , Thai calamari, grilled artichokes and tuna tartare were all excellent. I had a stuffed fish topped with scallops and shrimp which was delicious but the star was the veal chop. Massive, tender in a Marsala type sauce with mozz. Service was also great. Can wait to go back!!!!!“
“Took my wife last night for the anniversary of her 29th birthday. Great evening. It was our second time there. We first enjoyed a drink at the bar. Shout out to Michael who made her a perfect muddled orange vodka!! She said it was almost as good as mine!! We then sat at a beautiful table - never felt rushed in any way. The staff are lovely. The food was amazing!! The waiter brought over some cuts of cheese (complimentary) while we looked over the menu. We decided to share an order of the mussels, a salad (which ended up being huge!!), the birthday girl had the branzino - which she said was amazing and I had the veal parm which was equally fantastic! The branzino was served over broccolini and came with 2 sauces. The restaurant sent over a really nice piece of Tiramisu with a candle which was really nice. We did exactly what we did last time we were there and made a reservation to come back again! A great nice of great food. Beautiful birthday dinner!!! Sorry we ate all the mussels before I remembered to take pictures!!“
“I've been to two separate MFC restaurants in Queens and neither of them could compare to this place. The service was pretty fast and very good, with someone who I believe to be the manager/owner even coming around to ask us if we needed anything. In typical MFC fashion, the food was delicious. The soy garlic boneless tenders and spicy wings are out of this world, and the Parmesan truffle fries were good too. The prices for the food aren't even bad either, I can't think of a single thing wrong with this particular chain. The Plainview location is my new spot, and I'll gladly make the 25 mile trek from Queens to eat here rather than at Forest Hills.Sidenote: I believe they're having some sort of anniversary celebration on 3/1/24. If you're reading this before the date passes, definitely check it out.“
“A fun place for lunch and dinner. I was a bit hesitant bring my son who is 3yo, because you just never know if he's having a good day or bad day. But I decided to take the risk and bring him on a mini date because there's only so many visits this mommy can take to Chik-fil-A and it turned out great. He was on his good behavior and tried the mushroom risotto, which I told him was cheesy rice with my short rib and he has a cheese burger and fries. They did forget to put cheese on his burger which he was quick to point out but that was a quick fix, the staff was quick to melt a slice of cheese on his burger and brought it back out quick. My only semi-compliant was a side was small sweet potato smash was $12 which was the same cost of his burger and fries. Otherwise, everything was great, staff was attentive and we had a fun time. “I had an issue with my room facing the open atrium area and the noise level from the bar extending past quiet hour. The front desk manager, Stephen, immediately addressed my concern and moved me to a room in a more desirable location. I also found the front desk and concierge lounge employees to be very friendly and helpful. My room service attendant, Holly, made sure my order was as specified and she delivered it with a smile!! I really appreciated her kind demeanor. I felt my business mattered to everyone I came in contact with at this Marriott property and would not hesitate staying here again when my travels bring me back to Long Island.“

“I'm an avid sushi lover and always like trying new places. This was my first time at MoCA. The ambience and decor were nice. I love the design of the seating area and bar. Booths were super spacious and comfortable. My husband and I ordered 2 appetizers (Mini Rolls and Indian Pancakes) and 2 specialty rolls (American Dream Roll and Baja Roll). Everything was delicious, just wish the rolls were a little bigger. Definitely on the smaller side compared to tons of other sushi restaurants I've been too. Honestly, we were still hungry after that. So order more than you think. We were going to order the Mille (Green Tea) Crêpe Cake but they ran out for the night. Looked really promising though. For cocktails I first ordered a margarita and I feel bad saying this but, it was one of the worst margaritas I've ever had and my husband agreed. It didn't taste anything like a margarita, and it was sour and just weird. However, the waitress was nice enough to switch out my drink and I ended up ordering a Jalapeño Mango Martini instead, which was delicious. Overall everything was good just wish the sushi had a bigger serving.“
“The food was so delicious! Highly recommend trying the side wings and the corn bread. Our server was very kind and attentive. You order up front, grab a number and find a seat and they bring the food out to you. Serving sizes are pretty big and prices are very fair. The drinks were excellent as well. “I had lunch at Vauxhall on 3/3/24. Everything was delicious. I had the American Gangster burger with fries and the onion ring and side salad options. My wife had the Jameson BBQ burger. Food was all fresh and delicious. Server Danielle is an absolute gem. Attentive, conscientious and friendly. She was masterfully running both the bar and seating area all by herself! “If you are looking for something different give this place a try. I’ve lived here for years and always thought this was another pizzeria. It’s not. “We were invited here with friends and never tried it before. The service was good and quick , he even noticed our drinks weren’t how we asked when he went to serve them, so he was very attentive. All of us ordered different dinners and sides. The fillet of sole roberto was quite flavorful , the duck was very good, and the stuffed veal was delicious as well. My chicken parmigiana was ok , unfortunately I felt it lacked flavor, specifically the sauce, other than that all the food was quite good. Overall we were happy with the experience.“
“Fun place to go on Fridays and Saturdays to let loose with friends. DJ plays great music all night until 3am, sometimes 4am. Bartenders at the front bar, are beyond experienced and friendly. Also very easy on the eyes. Drinks taste good and it's not difficult to get a drink at the front or the back of the place. The back bar is a bit more relaxed. It has TVs and pool tables. There's also an outside patio for the smokers. Dress nice and act right or access might be denied at the door. Always a great time when I go. This review is for Friday and Saturday nights. Haven't been there on any other day yet.“
“In my opinion pricing was fair and portions were more than adequate. Food was very good. Don't agree with some other reviews saying the portions are small. We had 5 adults and ordered 4 entrees and 3 appetizer plates. There was plenty to share if we wanted to try each other's dish and we had food to take home. Decor was nothing special and atmosphere was quiet and calm. Service was a bit lacking but kind of expected, typical of Indian restaurants. Enjoyed, would recommend to try but probably wouldn't visit again.“

“Finally came here on a Friday night date night after driving past this restaurant hundreds of times! Nice setting with low lighting and not a loud environment where you can actually have a conversation at your table. Our waiter Gianni was superb.... start to finish he made sure everything was going well and took care of all our needs. We started with the sushi/sashimi special which was spectacular. Its presentation was as great as the taste! Porterhouse for two was just enough, and a little room leftover for dessert. Food was great, drinks were perfect and the ambience was nice. There was a DJ playing in the background which was nice and gave it a fun vibe. Overall I'll be back here as there were many other items on the menu we wanted to try.“

Full table of steaks, mash, mac and cheese and some veggies. And desserts. My only caveat was for a $70 steak I expected it to have actual flavor and not taste like a charred piece of meat.“
