“My mother has been going through cancer treatments for months. Most days she can’t even leave the house from exhaustion . She went to the grocery store this morning and when she left she was so exhausted she decided to go to McDonald’s for a hamburger and sit there for a while before heading home. When she got to the front door she saw people leaving saying the inside is closed only the drive through is opened. She of course went to make sure this was true. As she opened the door the cashier said sorry only the drive thru is opened but she looked up and saw my mom ( you can tell by looking at my mom she is sick) and said “oh honey, come in what would you like?’ My mom said just a hamburger and a small French fries. She told my mom to go sit down she would bring it to her and said that it was on the house. My mom thanked her but said she would pay. The cashier said absolutely not. . Your meal is on us today. She said , now you go sit and I’ll bring it out. They even came over and cleaned up her mess when she was done. My mom said they treated her like a queen. Thank you so much McDonald’s in Oakdale NY for doing this.“

It’s honestly pretty hard to find a place where you can grab a quick lunch and still feel good about what you’re feeding your family.Ive been coming here with all the kiddos and they love it every single time. First of all, this place is insanely clean. I mean seriously, probably one of the cleanest food places I’ve ever been to. The ingredients are fresh,the quality is great and you can tell they actually put some thought into what they’re serving. It’s the kind of attention Id give to making a sandwich for my own kids at home. And the staff is just great. Idk how they do it but somehow they’ve made a bagel shop feel like a neighborhood place you’ve been going to for years 👌 Everyone is genuinely friendly, not that fake customer service stuff. I've gotten salads from the Pop salad section and i just tried a quesadilla with steak (omg soooo good, the steak is soft and juicy and seasoned just right). the salad is always fresh and tasty and the portions are big!! My quesadilla meal was about 13.50 without the drink but i have leftovers and I always have half a salad left so it's like 2 meals for 10-15 dollars...so worth it. The people that prep the food in the back are so nice too. Idk where they found these employees but they are just so genuine and friendly. Love this place. I recommend it to everyone lol“

“I stop at this Starbucks almost every Friday morning, and occasionally another day during the week, and I pick up for myself and three of my coworkers. Last week, it was a coworker’s birthdays, and I asked one of the baristas, Serena, to write “happy birthday” on her cup. She took the cup, drew a birthday cake, candles, stars, and wrote “Happy Birthday” in the cake. She went above and beyond what was necessary and my coworker was so excited! Thank you!“

And then there’s the people ❤ Lauren is the most amazing bartender, of course her brother Sean, Serafina (my gypsy ❤), Heather, Cynthia, Sam and all the best of the best. They all just make your day or night better. You walk in and you feel like you’re hanging out with friends.
That’s what I love about Monarca. It’s not just the food, it’s the people and the feeling you get when you’re there. It can be your everyday spot, date night, a drink at the bar, dinner with friends or just somewhere you go because you know you’re going to have a good time.

A Venti coffee with a shot of espresso is just what I need to keep focused, and the quiet, comfortable, but also chill environment has helped me produce some of my deepest analytical work and solve some major life questions.
