“genuinely some of the best sushi i’ve had and i’ve been to nobu. they give you a hot towel upon arrival, a complementary kani style salad & sliced orange at the end! that alone impressed me but the sushi is soo delicious and fresh. I tried the “tortilla” for an app which was something i’d never seen on a sushi menu before but it was delish! the spicy tuna roll had such good flavor- a classic. The joey roll was also delicious with the perfect wasabi sauce. absolute 10/10 hidden gem can’t believe how many times i’ve driven past this place and didn’t try until now!! will be going back for sure 🙌🏼“

“My husband and I have been eating here pretty much once a week for almost 20 years. We usually get take out and create our own in home date night. By far the freshest and most delicious sushi we’ve ever had. Period. They keep the menu very clean, as opposed to other places we’ve tried where everything is caked in sauce and all just taste the same. You will not be disappointed.
Favorites: Alan roll, Peter roll (as for extra sauce on the side), Cooper roll (not on the menu but was on their old menu. You can still ask for it) and the deep impact.“

“We, thankfully, had a reservation on a Saturday night. We had a spacious table for 4. Brittany was our waitress. She was wonderful. She introduced herself, took our drink orders, gave us time to look over the menu, told us about the specials, was attentive to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. The appetizers she suggested were delicious. The courses were nicely spaced apart. Each course was cleared from the table before the next course was served. We never felt rushed. The food was excellent. Atmosphere was quiet to enjoy a conversation. We will certainly be returning.

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “Excellent service, fabulous food. We went on Parmigiana night...which is a special menu: salad or soup, entree(chicken , eggplant, veal or shrimp parm) and dessert for $28 or $32, such a great deal. We decided on salads, veal and shrimp parm, with sides of spaghetti and spinach. Italian cheesecake and cannoli for dessert. Everything was delicious. Lovely atmosphere. You can also order from the regular menu if you're not interested in the special menu, but it's such a great deal...I don't know why anybody would choose otherwise.“

“First time here. We came for the soup dumplings and they were great. Great flavor and a nice selection to choose from. We tried crab and pork soup dumpling as well as lobster soup dumplings. We also ordered the spring rolls pretty good as well as the Singapore Mei Fun which had a great curry flavor and a nice spiciness though it was on the small side for an entree. The restaurant was very small. It had 4 two person tables and 2 large picnic tables with benches that could sit 6 people. Service was not the best and staff not that friendly. Once served they never came to see if you needed something or how was the food.“

Today they had Secret Vegan Kitchen and it was some of the best vegan food I've ever had. DubCo always has a range of different styles of beers, which makes it more attractive to anyone in a larger group, not just a bunch of IPAs here. They also dip into a lot of fun spinoff drinks like their Greaterade (coming in 5 different colors / flavors) and their hard seltzers / hard palmer. Always something new to try & their staff are amazing at recommendations & allowing you to try some of their taps. A+ brewery.“

She did not leave until she informed us of menu options that she thought we might be interested in and asked us if there was anything that we needed right away. When I told her to give us a little bit of time, she pleasantly agreed and did hesitate to frequently check on us to see if she could meet our needs. I ordered a cocktail for myself and a drink for my son, who accompanied me, and we placed our dinner order. Our food was served promptly and it was hot and delicious. Throughout dinner, she checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything that we needed. She also made pleasant conversation which I greatly appreciated as this was my first time at an Applebee’s location. She has gained you a customer for life. “Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.“
