We had palmiers, an apple tart that was rolled up, and an apricot filled triangle.
In each case, the millefeuille pastry was phenomenal. It shattered as you bit into it. Not at all stodgy or dense. The perfect level of caramelization.

“I wanted to LOVE LOVE and be super hype about my first time purchasing a cake from here but unfortunately it wasn't what I thought it was but I still give it a 4 stars because maybe it was my fault for misreading the description. I ordered the Red rosette cake apparently only sides were buttercream frosting but I assumed all of the icing would be buttercream . In our opinion ( and my fiances opinion, I bought it for his birthday) we found the red icing to be extremely bitter, no butter cream flavor whatsoever and the white part wasn't very sweet at all. We just didn't find the icing tasty at all but the inside was moist and the dulce de lece was a nice light flavor. I would say make sure you know for sure what you are ordering and ask to clarify to be sure . Other then that the cake was beautiful. I think the customer service could be more friendly but I understand business can make one be assertive at times. I also found it strange they didn't have a box big enough for the cake to properly cover it and we had to place it in the car open . Not used to that but hey, like I said beautiful cakes and clarify what you want to make sure they are on the same page with you with your expectations“

My son's big day today and I took a trip here to pick up my custom strawberry cake layered with their famous lightly sweetened freshly whipped cakes. When you step inside It's as if you step back in time. My mom first took me here when I was 11 or 12 and this place still look the same. The bakery captures a lot of customers from the surrounding businesses such as the hospital. It's great to see a flow a diverse crowd visiting this Gem. Corn cheese bread was sooo fun. If it’s served warm; I bet you it’s fantastic but I did eat it a couple of hours after it was ordered.
The fig bread had an amazing texture to it. Light and fluffy like Portuguese bread (I did personally wish the figs were cut smaller to enjoy more evenly but that’s personal preference)

Good display of breads, cakes and items from the Philippines. Service: not much interaction cause I just bought cake and go. Food: UBE CAKE: omg it is so good! The cake itself is moist even few days after I purchase! The frosting is like cream type, its a bit a lot but it taste good because it taste ube as well. Unlike other ube cakes that the cream does not taste ube! I almost eat half of the cake because it is so good! Price rating: 7/10, $45 for a round cake. Thats the usual price now for more stores!
