Their food is fresh, delicious and have a variety of options, not to mention with the best price. All the workers are super nice and are VERY generous with their servings, especially for the bowl. They truly care about their customers happiness. They closed for a few days for renovations and I swear I was having withdrawals. But 10/10, I HIGHLY recommend this place.

“Fabulousness A must place to go“

“GrillMak has been a favorite spot of mine for probably almost 10 years now. My go-to's are their sticks - Filet Mignon, my favorite, but their chicken and pork sticks are delicious as well. Occasionally, I will go with the filet mignon gyro when needing a more complete meal. Their sweet potato French fries are a nice side to any meal. There is plenty of dining seating indoors and some outdoors during the summer. You will find plenty of parking here as well.

“I came here with friends to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend Avenue Gyro! The staff is very accommodating, polite and friendly. The food was fresh, homemade and delicious! We came in February on a Wednesday night, but I imagine this place fills up on weekends and during warmer months -- it Must! Warm atmosphere, earthy decor, clean facilities... what more can I say? We loved everything we ate. Edita took excellent care of us and the chef came out to check on us also! No complaints from us. We had great food and excellent, attentive service. 5/5.“

“A friend of mine and I had a lovely experience at Laffa Bar and Grill. The outside tent was spacious, the food is plentiful and delicious! I also like the changes they made indoors. It has a very nice ambiance. The Owners are warm and welcoming as well as each of the staff. Service with a smile..how refreshing! “This was our first time trying Mediterranean food and certainly the first time trying this place. Food was actually really, really good and exceeded our expectations. Ingredients are very fresh, chicken & steak shawarma was flavorful. Food was light but very filling. One thing though, the music was way too loud and we thought we ordered two bowls. Slight miscommunication but the man at the front was extremely friendly. Everything turned out fine because that one bowl was filling enough for the both of us! We've been very health conscious these days so we'll definitely be back. This and Pokeworks is now our two favorite spots.“

“I can't even begin to gush about how amazing this place is! 2 lamb gyros and a drink for $24?! And they're PACKED out, so much meat, the toppings are just lovely. The staff is always super friendly, they're fast, everything is done right in front of you. The restaurant is spotless and lit up so welcoming and friendly, we've gotten to go both times we've eaten here but I would love to sit down and eat in the restaurant as well! Again I am just flabbergasted about the price, this day and age; an amazing dinner for 2 being $24 with a drink is just out of this world! I recommend this place to absolutely anyone who's in or visiting the Lynbrook area. Not to mention they're open til 3am!?!? “We arrived at Lisbon Cafe at 3:00 pm, atfter lunch hour rush and we had the luxury of dining al fresco. The staff were friendly, attentive and knew the details of the menu items.
We ordered three appetizers - Grilled Calamari, Bolinhos e bacalhau, Portuguese clams. The sauce of the clams was out of this world! We mopped them out with soft bread! The combination of clam and pork sausage was perfect! The grilled calamari paired well with peppers and tomatoes.

The cod cakes were melt in your mouth soft.

For main, we ordered Feijoada de Mariscos, Bacalhau a Lagareiro, and Chanfana Cabrito (Braised Goat). The meal was served with salads and rice. We ate everything with gusto and with delightful satisfaction!

“I'd like to give kudos to Nick and his staff at Veranda Restaurant & Cafe. We held my daughter's bridal shower brunch for 22 people there today under the pergola. The food was excellent, and the waitstaff led by Daniel was impeccable! I highly recommend this venue.

Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to cilantro, so they prepared guacamole specially for me without this ingredient.
