“Slightly hard to write this review as I arrived a bit late to the meal. I went here months upon months ago. Not knowing that this was part of Dun Huang, I thought I went to the wrong restaurant but it turned out it was one and the same which was surprising. I was here with a group of nine others. As I arrived a bit late, the soup dumplings had already been there a while but they were still of very good quality. My favorite of the night was the Salted Egg Yolk & Shrimp Stir-Fried Rice Cakes. The texture of the rice cakes were perfect and the egg yolk complimented it well. I also liked the Dry Fried Shredded Eel & Chives. I also would have preferred them less shredded as I couldn't taste much of the eel texture but the sauce was nice and the blend with the chives added some good depth. The Fried Dough Twist Spicy Chicken or Laziji with Mahua was also surprisingly spicy for a restaurant which is primarily Shanghainese now so I guess they still have some influence from the old Dun Huang. I've had it before with these dough twists from the excellent Peppercorn Station and these rivaled that place even though the chicken there was a bit pricier but then again there was larger pieces of chicken in the latter. The Fish Fillets in Sour Cabbage Soup was also pretty solid as well as the Grilled Lamb Kebabs. You can essentially see Andie's review for the rest of my thoughts as they essentially reiterate hers. Yes it was too hot inside and as I was rushing to get there, I got warmer than most but oh well. Would go back but maybe go during the fall or winter if the AC isn't fixed yet. Mid 4“

The atmosphere and decor was trendy, chic and the place was packed. The cocktails were creative and fun. I loved my Pear of Thieves cocktail and my friend who is not adventurous, took a leap of faith and ordered the Grape Scotch which he loved. The bone marrow app was to die for and we were impressed with the scallops and pork belly entrees. Tanya picked the perfect wine for us and I enjoyed it so much that I'm trying to find where I can buy it for myself. It's the next day and I'm still thinking about my food and the experience. The Roman style were sausage with broccoli rabe and spinach with artichoke. The traditional were a burrata and vodka pepperoni basil and pesto slice. I can't tell you which was the best because they were all amazing. It was nice to get some slices with fresh greens on them that actually tasted good.I wish I had taken a picture of all the pizza because the variety of slices they had was crazy. “I had the Duck Pad See Ew now these noodles remind me of drunken noodle so if you like that then you will love this dish! The duck was succulent and crispy on the outside cooked to perfection wow! The food was tasty but not salty and greasy like other Thai places I have tried recently. The chef is top notch and knows what she is doing for real just the right balance of flavor and taste in every single bite. Next up I had the appetizer the main event the "Zaab" Spicy Chicken Wings. I've never had chicken wings with this particular flavor or seasoning before so this was new territory for me. No need to worry though as you're in good hands like All State with this chef she is no joke and has clearly put in her 10,000 hours and then some respectfully. It was a dry rub fried chicken wing with spicy chili flakes or chili powder rubbed underneath and/or on top of the wing itself which was fried and coated to perfection I was impressed thoroughly to say the least. This was the sleeper and highlight our orders. We also ordered last but not least the chicken pad Thai which was flavorful and the ingredients were super fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place can't say it enough five stars is a minimum! By the way and oh yes please try the Thai Iced Tea and Coconut Water for good measure to wash down your meal. “The restaurant is in a low traffic area and seems to do decent with takeout. I haven't seen anyone sit down yet each time I went. Restaurant looks pretty clean and full of space. The folk working here are pretty nice. Portion sizes are either lunch or dinner size for your platters. Even the lunch size is a good size portion enough for one person. The dinner size is enough for two people. When we ordered the lunch size for gyro, we had a choice of either a salad or a soup for the first side which is separate from the gyro and there is a second side that goes along with the gyro, so you can pick one of the following fries, rice, lemon potatoes or grilled vegetables. The container is filled about 80% full with grilled pita.When we ordered the dinner size for gyro, its the same as lunch but you can pick two of the sides that go along the gyro. This is effectively filling your container all the way to the top at 100% filled with grilled pita. Recently it appears they increased this to up to three sides, but I imagine they will just reduce the portion size of each side if you pick three but would still fill the container full.The Greek salad is good and the soups we tried were also good. The gyros and chicken souvlaki were on point.“

Really good local spot for breakfast and lunch sandwiches, rolls and bagels. You can usually get parking right out front and there's never a meter maid to ticket you. There's always trucks and tractors trailers out front either parked or double parked. No big deal, there's always a spot or double parking to be done. The line moves fast inside and you can keep an eye on your vehicle. There's also plenty of legal parking in the lot behind the establishment too.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options like bagels and cream cheese or toasted and buttered rolls etc... there may even be vegan cream cheese if I remember right.“
