The restaurant has been a Fire Island staple for 25 years, and it shows. Customers recommend the 14 Oz Pork Chop Milanese with Arugula and shaved Gruyere cheese, the Jumbo shrimp with sea scallops with wilted spinach and quinoa, and the Linguini with jumbo shrimp and clams with roasted corn, plenty of garlic, and spinach in a buttery EVVO sauce. The portions are generous, and sharing is recommended. The service is great and friendly. Though there may be occasional waits for a table, the quality of the food and the warm atmosphere make RACHEL'S well worth the visit.
