With polite staff and low pricing on much of the items, this place always seems to satisfy me. On top of that, their sandwiches are delicious right from the oven. Just delicious. Ate half brought my wife the rest. “I was working locally and decided to grab lunch from Wheeler Deli after reading the reviews. The deli is smaller and quaint but has a large case of Boars Head meats, salads, and desserts. I ordered an American Hero, sides of macaroni salad, and potato salad, and a piece of the banana bread. They got right to making my order and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. My sandwich was fresh, crisp, and delicious. The salads were creamy and had great flavor. The banana bread was outstanding; dense and sweet and flavorful. The total for food and a drink was less than $25 which was a great value. I’ll be back.“

They were juggling a few customers at a time and were still attentive to everyone. Very kind people. Cash only. Clean place. Very quick service as well. The potato salad was phenomenal. I got the tuna upon recommendation but I would not buy it again. Prices were cheap for this area but expensive in general.“

They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. “Deli Boy makes great sandwiches. Very fresh and tasty ingredients. I only recently moved to the area so I have been to a few delis in the freeport Baldwin area. I would say that all my orders have been over the phone for pick up. Because of COVID I wont open rh e sandwhich but all of my sandwiches I have asked for cheese but everytime I get home .....there is none. Its my faukt though I know netter to watch my food being prepared and making sure all the ingredients are there. AI havent really fully enjoyed the sandwich becuae its missing a key ingredient. It hapoened again today. Gbey write the order down perfect on the ticjetbut the sandwich doesnt have evefything on it . I was accidentally given French fries instead of the French toast. This is not that big of a deal but the man at the counter argued with me that I ordered French fries, instead of offering to fix the $40 order. It was 8:50am and I already had ordered hash browns with my breakfast; I wouldn’t have ordered French fries with that.“
