“This was my first visit to JPs. I thought it was great! Nice place to sit and unwind. I played a little Quick Draw and drank my drink. Mind u not shy with the alcohol. The bartender Luisa was just the sweetest woman! U could tell she really loves her job. Very attentive and accommodating. I also tried their food. I had fried zucchini sticks and mild buffalo wings. They came out piping hit, watch your mouth, lol. Luisa makes the marinara for the zucchini sticks. Delicious!! Also the night I was there they had live rap performances from local rappers, that was fun too. All and all I would recommend JPs to anyone looking for a great night out! I will definitely go again. They also make pizza, gotta go back at least to try that. Thanks to Luisa for making my first night out in a long time a great one!!“

“Neighborhood bar / pubThe Newbridge Inn has been kicking it for a long time now and it has a faithful following of locals that keep the place rocking.Been here a number of times over the years and well, never had a bad experience.Great drinks and bartenders and better than average food are available at the bar.The unexpected and ridiculously good white pizza w onions was a most pleasant surprise- who would have expected such a delight from a place where the typical app is wings or nachos?There is some outdoor space in the rear and the only downside to the place is that parking can be hard to come by - you'll have to park directly on busy Jerusalem ave.Definitely give it a shot - worth a trip just for the pizza“

“Eager to listen to some live music on a recent Saturday night, Lee & I moseyed on down to the nearby Rabbit's Foot. I really enjoyed our time there & would certainly head back over again. The gentleman who was bartending was lovely, these folks were hustling ! The food coming out looked great, we had already been out all day but will order that fine looking steak next time. In fact, everything coming out of the kitchen looked very nice. Lee had 2 ours of some fine top shelf bourbon, I enjoyed my favorite digestive, Jägermeister on the rocks.Would love to get an UYE meet up here sometime, I see a review from our old favorite Yelp friends CJ & Ruben !!“

“Our GO TO pub in Baldwin. It's like walking into Cheers Bar - everyone knows your name and you are greeted with a hug and a smile. Shay is just the BEST and the staff is simply amazing. We love watching games, listening to the bands and playing trivia on Thursday night. Just a GREAT hometown place to hang!!!“

“For me as a German citizen was kinda funny to see how German culture got translated to American culture. So yeah there was a German food menu (not really authentic German food but close to) and good german beer.It was still an American restaurant with sports and to many TV's and they're way to loud. But I think that's normal in the states so it was fun.I would come again!And it's in German "Der Biergarten" because it's masculine and not neutral (for "Das"). ?“

“Visit Date: March 25, 2023I came to The Shannon Rose Pub with a close friend of mine to see the band cover storm. We shared a sausage and jalapeno pepper pizza and I got wild drinkin' them seltzers! There's a cool spot that looks like kind of a window with 3 chairs and it's a cool spot to see the music. I was here once before when my friend Dave who owns top shelf karaoke did a show. I had a pizza when I came to see his karaoke show as well. Shannon Rose is a pretty cool little pub to check out!“

“We had delicious cocktails. We both ordered the lobster which came with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes.We had a nice view of the ocean and sunset.Our waitress was also very sweet and attentive.We loved it so much we came back a week later and ordered the lobster again!“

“Nice bar. This was the first bar I went to as a 21 year old. I was looking forward to it and it was pretty fun. The only downside is that they close 5 hours earlier because of the pandemic and there were some alcoholic regulars who were giving us and staff a problem. Overall its a nice bar to hang out at and I'll be back.“

“Classy old school irish joint serving only 30 and over,no food avail,just potent drinks made right and ice cold beer served by professional and friendly bartenders,Inside is updated with beautiful wood accents, chandeliers and comfortable high stool seating along the long beautiful full bar, flat screens to watch the big game & Good,mature clientele frequent the place,stopped in with my friend the other night and had some of the best Irish coffee I ever had! “The Broadway Tavern is a place tucked away in Malverne and is a great place for people to meet and socialize. They have many different events every week to keep everyone happy. The outdoor garden is a hidden gem where you can hold family gatherings and have a great time. They have great entertainment on weekends and provide the best in service. Malverne should be pleased to have such a great establishment!“

“I'm a huge fan of small town bars. Love this place and the Vibes it carries with it. Something about uncommercialized bars that I love. They have a pool table which isn't the best but definitely does the job. Pool is $2 a game. They have cheap beers in tap and also had UFC on which is a huge plus.“

TVs are on at the bar for entertainment as well. Clean bathroom and overall establishment. Management is visible and the vibe is cool.“

“Beer is cold, place is clean, food is actually very good. Good burger. Great fries. chicken pot pie +++.But, the star of my visits is their chicken tenders with fries... Amazing! My first grader LOVES coming in here and sitting down to munch on their chicken tenders with fries. I also get them take out at least once a week.Lovely quaint spot.“

“Stopped by today to have a drink while my wife was at dentist. An old and quaint neighborhood bar that reminded me of a place I frequented years ago. There was a fellow that asked my name and bought me a drink. Don't know his name but he was drinking Jameson with an oj on the side. Cheers to you.“

“The wings are banging and the sandwiches are a good size so make sure you're hungry. Plus they have mozzarella sticks and corn poppers that everyone loves. And the drinks flow great. Very friendly atmosphere and great place to have a party.“

“Where to start? Shines is hands down the best bar in the West End! Staff is great; always available for a conversation a laugh and a good time. The reason for me writing this post is to appreciate the level of care and concern for safety of all patrons that the staff has. I won't write out the entire thing, but on one occasion I was being followed/had someone not leave me alone. Mike, Tom and (another) Mike made sure that the guest left and kept me safe while he was leaving. They made sure that the unruly guest didn't see me leave or follow me, and got him to leave me alone while I was at the bar. Its great to see a group of people that put the safety of their guests at the forefront of their business even if it is a busy Sunday Night. Also, drinks are on point, and while they don't serve food, they are always open to you ordering/eating outside food at the bar while you have a drink!“

“Great bar I am a regular here . The place is small but charming . Drinks are cheap good music good vibe . The atmosphere is better than it looks. This bar has a pool table . Darts. Board games. Juke box . Parking is is plentyfull. There us a kitchen sometimes it is closed and they allow food from out side .“

“This is a great place to go on Sunday night for open mic night with Debbie Knapper and the Knapper Time Band. So many wonderful and talented musicians and singers come out and it's also a great place for upcoming singers and musicians to develop and grow in their gifts and talents. Great music, and usually a nice and mature atmosphere.“

“LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! First time there, and definitely want to return. Delicious wings, steak sandwich, burgers, and shepherd pie. “The was food was fantastic. The service from Marissa was even better than that. It was superb!! Unfortunately, it was empty. It was Monday night football & no one was there to watch. Very surprising. Especially when their wings are off the charts & $5 beers. I think it was football specials, but a $5 beer is unheard of anymore.I'll definitely be going back!!!“

Food is very good, consistent and drinks are not cheap pours with a shot glass - A REAL Drink.Bands are usually good and the atmosphere is like Cheers where you feel comfortable and can be yourself. Staff is friendly, full of great people and never a problem if you have any issue. Love Memories!“
