Amazing provisions and food run by the friendliest people. I enjoyed the selection of grocery items as well as the lunch menu. The egg sandwich was delicious and the tuna salad on cloud-like housemade foccacia was a favorite. There's an old world charm about the building and interior and it boasts some of the best cafe food i've ever had (pastries, espresso, sandwiches). Can't wait to come back and try dinner!
The Old Chatham Country Store & Cafe is not only charming from the outside but becomes even more delightful upon entering. A brief exploration of the displayed delicacies of this hidden gem, including the refrigerated pantry items, heightened our expectations for breakfast. Every item we tried - coffee, breads, sandwiches, muffins, and especially the superb Persian poached farm eggs - was exceptional. Every dish was delicious, this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. In addition to the amazing food, the ambience and staff were wonderful. The muscle escabeche toast and the “famous martini” were menu highlights.
