They have brought the same dedication and amazing attention to detail that has resulted in their tremendously successful careers, to their wonderful new restaurant. They have thought of EVERY detail from the whimsical videos playing in the rest rooms to the sugar cubes for your espresso... they have missed nothing. The menu is inventive and perfectly executed... Watermelon Gazpacho?! Whoa! The unique presentation of the Calamari appetizer was wonderful. Bouillabaisse?! You don’t find that as the seafood option very often... what a treat. Others in my group enjoyed perfectly cooked steaks and the slightly smoky Mac & Cheese. Of course the cheese plates are spectacular. This is one of those meals you won’t forget! But wait did I mention the speakeasy downstairs? The perfectly appointed room features an amazing menu of craft cocktails AND six draft beers to choose from... including Ommegang Rare Vos... you simply don’t find that on tap anywhere!! Finally a word about the service. It was impeccable, perfectly attentive without being stuffy. Chris and Ellen have created a destination restaurant!”

“Just visited for the first time Wide selection of beers. All were awesome. I had a flight of four and Rita tried both pils. Very relaxing atmosphere and Tom was a great host. We brought lunch from the nice deli right next door. Looking forward to our next visit.”

The food, the wine, the lighting, the music - stellar! It's cozy, intimate, sexy and welcoming. Hillary, the owner, is so knowledgeable about wine yet humble and unpretentious. I love her selections so much that I now subscribe to her quarterly wine club shipped directly to my home. Chef Mikayla nails it with the every single dish balanced to perfection. The croquettas are a constant fave of mine coupled with a bright citrus & olive salad. And OMG, the meatballs! Recently she made fresh gnocchi and it was literally the best gnocchi I've ever had in my life. Easily one of my favorite spots in the Hudson Valley. “Went on Valentines Day 2026 with my love and had an amazing time. Even tho it was packed and a little noisy, the restaurant still had an ambiance of calmness and professionalism. Very nicely decorated. Very modern. I've tried many Asian type restaurants over the past 40 years and by far Soho Asain Bistro is the best I've ever had the pleasure to walk into and enjoy fully. I want to thank especially my girlfriend (who is the best ever!) And Soho Asain Bistro for a most wonderful time and meal!”

The mashed potatoes were so good!! We love this place, we’re so happy to have a great restaurant so close to home.”

“Been to Lagonia's 6 times over the past month every meal has been great! The most recent we 6 people in our party had appetizers (Calamari), soup and salad with Lasagna, Eggplant parm, Veal Par, Pork chops Ala vodka with chicken. Everything was cooked to perfection french onion soup was out of this world. Everything arrived to the table in a timely manner looked great and tasted fantastic. Our waitress was very pleasant and freindly and gave great service, always there if needed but never rushed. I have ordered hamburger on previous visits and it was the best burger I've ever had, not to mention the home made french fries. Burger on the rare side crispy fries both times cooked as ordered. Can't believe that these burgers have not been voted the #1 burger in Chatham! I would HIGHLY recommend Lagonia's to all that wants a great meal.”
