“Actually impressed with this small, clean eatery.Didnt expect much but they have a solid menu no frills with fairly abundant portion.Quality is much better than most Chinese restaurants I tried.They have some seats outside.Talking to the lady at the counter she said they just opened and they are going to be closed on Wednesdays rather than Mondays“

“1/2021: ordered take out, and was met at the front door to pick up order. No dine in, due to Covid. Decently priced, and they give you a lot of food. I couldn’t finish mine. My general tso tofu was pretty good, although it was not spicy at all, despite the menu saying it is. Egg rolls were delicious. My husband was happy with his chicken lo mein. We would order again“

“I drive 8 hours to Middletown from NC to eat this coconut chicken ( and also see my family but one is way more important )… it’s so delicious and can’t really be found anywhere else. Go here order coconut chicken and be happy. I really want the recipe so I don’t have to only eat this once a year or so…“

“This place was a huge surprise to discover in Slate Hill! I had no idea it was even here until one day desperately searching for somewhere with some decent Chinese or Japanese food in the area after growing disappointment with some old "favorites" in the Sussex area, and Middletown. While it might look dodgy from the outside and there's no indoor service (just a pick up window), the food is legit good. Generous amounts of meat in the Chinese dishes (especially like the pork with black bean sauce), well cooked (vegetables still with some "bite" and shrimp tender, not overcooked and rubbery). Only tried one or two sushi rolls so far and they were fine if not exceptional, too. Can get a lot of food for the price, and I like their online ordering system as well. Hong Fu has now become a regular stop for me when visiting family in the area.“

“Excellent food, the young lady Cameron is a fantastic worker, while I was waiting for my order, she doe's everything, answering the phone while handling customers, helping with orders,just being a pleasant person. It's nice to have such a dedicated employee, she's a credit to your restaurant.The owners made a good choice, they are also very nice people! Love their food!!“

“I have been going to this place for years. Will go here over any other place. Me and my ex use to go here once a week I would get the same old thing but he would get this off the menus thing. So I started to get it. They never have an issue making it. It’s so good i tried to get it at a different place one time and it wasn’t even close to the same thing. This is the only place I will go“

“The food is usually great. However, there are some times when the food is overcooked, too greasy, has weird flavor, or they get some requests incorrect. Although, I must say that over the past years it has gotten progressively worse.When they do get it right, it is most likely the best Chinese food ever.“

“It’s very rare I ever give review but take it from me. The environment is very clean compared to the rest in Middletown that are so dirty. The attitude professional and nice people. Food taste way better than others. The give u spoon and sauces. Other places in Middletown 6/10 food wise, they have nasty attitudes charge for everything like even sauce this tiny sauce??. If u want good Chinese food better order from them and they will deliver to you.“

“Whoever gives a bad review, they are probably heavy chainsmokers with no taste buds 😂
I will take the long drive to get the food they serve. It’s very flavorful. Food preparation is on point once in a while if there is a problem, you bring it to their attention, and they will handle it to your satisfaction .
I wish they would open the dining area that is about it.
