“We woke up early on a snowy Sunday and changed our plans because of the weather, so we decided to look for a breakfast spot instead. We had passed this place many times, and since it had great reviews, we finally decided to give it a try. What a great decision.

Any review that says the food is bland must be biased, because this was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The whipped cream tasted like it was freshly made. The whiskey pancakes were incredibly flavorful, with perfectly spiced raisins and apple slices mixed right in. The Hungry Farmer’s plate—with eggs, cheese, bacon, and sausage all together—was like a circus in your mouth.

This will definitely be our new go-to breakfast place when we want to splurge a little. The prices are basically the same as a diner, so why go to a crappy diner when you can eat at such a pretty, spacious restaurant?“

“If you want a place to go eat with dirty hands this is the one! Bathroom is always closed but there’s an alley not too far away. You can tell management really cares about the customer experience when they keep the bathroom closed from customers. And they even have tables, that alone would be a health department violation(tables without a working bathroom) but who has time to call them anyway? I think the stuff here is delicious but it could also be the flavor from the last customer on the door handle so who knows?“

“I’ve been ordering from Orale for months now, but as soon as I crack open the container, the food hypnotizes me and makes me forget to take a picture. Every dang time. Not sure how I broke the spell this time, but let me tell you, still amazing.

I live on Long Island, so in my opinion, our average Mexican food is terrible. It’s either because too fancy and expensive trying to be more than it needs to, or it’s gone commercialized that’s overpriced and inconsistent quality-wise (looking at you tacombi). In steps Orale. Food is always amazing, fresh, consistent. Best chicken quesadilla I’ve had anywhere, hands down. Their carnitas burrito is also so savory and indulgent. My wife can never finish it in one serving.

Bonus: their red and green homemade sauces are so special. Really incredible balance of heat and flavor. I never have enough of it. I’m considering applying to an unpaid internship there just to learn how to make it myself. Or maybe I can get paid in sauce. Still working through the details here.

Double bonus: their staff is personable and attentive. Feels more like getting food from a friend.

Triple bonus: I walked in one time to get a pickup order and there was a 70th birthday party there and everyone was drinking tequila. Atmosphere was electric. Fired me up. I will now plan my next birthday there.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true Italian Joint ! Amatriciana, Carbonara and Cacio e Pepe made to perfection! . Appetizers are very good as well my favorite is the fried artichokes. Tried the special mozzarella in carrozza with anchiove and it was very good. Portions are plentiful and it's a high quality pasta. Highly recommend!“

“Have ordered many times from Ole’s. The food is delicious and service friendly and warm. Today, decided to eat in so we could try the nachos crispy and warm in the store. They were amazing!!! The other items were also great, my kids loved all of it. At the end, we had a chance to meet one of the owners, Manny. He was very friendly and warm, chatted with my boys and then surprised them with a warm churro. Needless to say, we’ll be coming back even more frequently now. Yum yum yum.“

The staff is so attentive and friendly. Last week, add to that list my interaction with Stella, who is fairly new to the Farm. So friendly and sweet. “My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. Kudos to them for a really great place, definitely go visit!“

“Noodumpling in Hicksville is an absolute gem! I stopped in recently and was blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. The dumplings are some of the best I’ve had—juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care.
The staff was super friendly and patient when explaining the menu, and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the whole restaurant feels clean and welcoming.

Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. Customer next to me raved about the banana pudfing so I added that too. All 5 star!!! Very happy I took the chance on a place in a gas station!!“

She had the four cheese ravioli with vodka sauce, and I had the pollo zingarella—both dishes were seasoned to perfection and tasted incredible. Even though it’s Italian cuisine, the food felt surprisingly light and fresh as we ate.

We travel often and consider ourselves serious food critics, and this place is hands-down the best Italian food we've ever had. In fact, it's now on our short list of the best meals we’ve enjoyed anywhere in the world!

“Ordered three times via takeout/doordash and this place has been consistently amazing. Their burgers are extremely flavorful & seasoned to perfection. Same great quality & taste every time. They accompany perfectly with (I assume) their potato buns & all the standard toppings. Toppings were added & taken off as requested via phone order.

Also, ordered the onion rings which were equally as delicious. Great crunch and flavor !!! $13ish for quick takeout double burger is a bit high IMO but taste-wise worth every penny. We’ll continue to order here, easily the best burger in Huntington, NY.
