“Ight real talk from a chef’s perspective, I gotta put y’all on to this underated hidden gem in Ozone Park Queens

It’s called Sweet Lil Sweets, a small, family-owned bakery and honestly? It blew me away.

I tried the banana pudding it is comparable to magnolia bakery but better !!
creamy, smooth, real bananas, balanced to perfection. As a chef, I appreciate when something simple is done right.

The tres leches cake? Moist, rich, but still light. That kind of texture doesn’t happen by accident it takes care.

I wasn’t even planning on ordering the white hot chocolate, my boo did but yo... one sip and I was hooked. Silky, not too sweet just comforting.

The iced coffee? Strong like Zeus fresh, no bitterness. Very solid it woke me up to reality

And they even let me sample their signature cheesecake cupcake bites it was banging Creamy little flavor bombs. You already know I wanted more. And that's coming from someone who doesn't really like cake like that

Listen, this spot has heart. You can taste it in every bite. As a chef, I know how much goes into this kind of quality and they’re doing it without the spotlight.

“I was in NY coming from a cruise and was looking for Guyanese good and stumbles upon this place.I was so excited to see Guyanese food so I got a few things for me and my kids. The food was busting, (delicious) man me and my kids was snacking our mouth in the car.
It was the Bigan choka for me.

“This bakery is hands down one of the best I've ever been to. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, welcoming vibe, and the service from Santiago, Natalia, and Herwin was exceptional. “Such a wonderful bakery with unique flavors. We ordered a Victorian Sponge Cake with Raspberry filling and the whipped cream topping. The cake was gorgeous, tasted amazing and was incredibly light- not overly sweet or heavy. Clio was so helpful in answering any questions I had before ordering and the prices are on par with other local bakeries, if not a bit cheaper.

They also have a storefront that is great to stop by as well. Highly recommend!“

While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

“Really good! There was a line but it moves fast. The staff were very kind and helpful. I came around 1:30pm on a weekday and they still had some sandwiches. I got the Burrata, prosciutto and basil sandwich with a peach iced tea, both were delicious!“

“I work for a law firm in CA and we have an employee who works remotely in NY.. For our employee's birthday I wanted to choose a bakery close to her home and who was local. Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. Needless to say our NY employee was super happy and LOVED the flavors and decorations of the cupcakes. ❤️“

“Shoutout to the Rittenhouse location. We are at Chop with our 4 year old son who just had surgery. I figured after the day we had let’s have some cookies. I placed an order from Levain on door dash. My wife after the long day she had put in the wrong address on the door dash order and the driver called screaming at me and wouldn’t come 1.3 miles to bring them even after explaining the circumstances. Door dash refunded my whole order without me even asking and I called Levain and they went above and beyond. They gave us cookies on the house and even threw in an extra chocolate chip and delivered them to CHOP. Not only are the cookies fabulous the hospitality is second to none. I am a lifelong customer to this location and want to thank everyone at the Rittenhouse location especially Mat who went above and beyond. Thanks again!“

We ordered a pack of 6 cookies to bring to Spain with no expectations that they would arrive whole in the suitcase and surprisingly they arrived perfect 😃 (later I realized that they could be carried in your hand to take them on the plane as a personal item) 😉

“Haven't really had any of the issues the negative reviews seem to be indicating. Service has always been pleasant in my experience. I mostly go for the hokkaido bread and have not had quality issues with any of my purchases. Would very much still recommend, especially if you live in the area and are looking for variety in pastries and bread options!“
