“Ordered: Burrito Bun Breakfast Sandwich (~$14): pasture raised scrambled eggs, organic spinach, avocado, Cabot pepper jack, chipotle aioli & crunchy lime red cabbage on an onion poppy bun Aya's take: What a killer of a breakfast sandwich! I was in the area and this was the 3rd place I came to; the others were closed (it's a holiday weekend so I understand). The Blue Light Speak Cheesy has a few tables and almost all of them were full. We were able to snag the last available table while I ordered at the counter. I realize they serve different sandwiches on different days of the week (I went on a Sunday) which could motivate people to come back on other days. On the other hand, it could be disappointing if they're not serving what you want on that particular day. Anyway, onto the sandwich! The Burrito Bun Breakfast Sandwich was so well-balanced. From the soft scrambled eggs to the tangy and vibrant red cabbage to the flavor of the pepper jack to the freshness of the spinach and avocado, it was everything you could want in a breakfast sandwich. I think the only thing that would make it better is if it had a layer of crunch (like a hash brown). Nonetheless, it was so filling and hit the spot. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area and I can't wait to come back.“
“This place is insanely delicious. Like, so so so good. Its tucked away near Time Square and the staff is so sweet, as well as a calm atmosphere ☺️ Plus the vegan menu is awesome ? Lastly their coffee is amazing alone and with everything ❤️Dietary restrictions: They have an entire Vegan menu and Gluten Free options ?“
“Excellent diner good after seeing Hadestown. Service was excellent. Portions are large. Food taste and selection better than expected. We drive 3+ hours one way to see a Broadway show from Vermont so a good, hearty, tasty meal before heading home was greatly appreciated.“
“Punches above its weight but be warned: It seats about 10 people. After 8:30 on a Saturday, there's a line. Soul-warming coffee, eggs cooked to actual order. They could choose a different sausage but I doubt they have to. It's near Chelsea flea market, so, go.“
“The Dirty Kitchen(traditional name given by Harlemites) is a go to for breakfast, especially in the early am.They close around noon so not a lot of time but they get slammed from 5am-11:30am so come early. The place is whole in the wall but the food is excellent. Like the breakfast your grandma made back in the day. They also give free coffee with any order before 10am.“
“Omg truly a must do, a very nice , quaint, restaurant in Brooklyn with sooo much flair and flavor. We did breakfast, an omelet with grits and rye toast , my wife had eggs with sausage and potatoes with multi grain toast, both of us had the homemade house hot sauce. Half way thru our meal Nick brought out this behemoth piece of French toast with this amazing maple syrup, JUST WOW The service and atmosphere is very welcoming. All was amazing but if you can only do 1 thing for breakfast definitely do the French toast and sausage. There is a lot of variety of food choices on the menu so come hungry. Again WOW. Thanks Nick for an amazing breakfast dining experience“
“I come here when I need work done on my car, since my mechanic is a few blocks away , unfortunately it has been too often. Coming to Breakhouse puts some good vibes Into the trip. I get here early, I love their breakfast selections. The coffee is good but cappuccino is even better. They have a very clean and comfortable bathroom. If I lived closer, I'd be here very often. It's one of my favorite restaurants, pleasant people and cozy.“
“We used to live in Windsor Terrace and would come here all the time. We moved back to the neighborhood after 7 years and decided to go back- food and services was great but no ac on a 90 degree day made it just a little uncomfortable for my hubby. I would still come back and recommend!“
“The man who served us was lovely and the food is amazing for the price. It's very good if you're on a budget holiday in New York I would personally say that the food is better than some of the expensive restaurants. Although the restaurant could do with a revamp I cannot complain about the quality of “
“My family was visiting from out of town. They needed to eat breakfast after their five hour drive. We decided to come here to grab breakfast. We enjoyed our breakfast. There was an issue with my son’s order, cheesesteak and fries which didn’t look good. The manager was happy to replace his order with a new plate with no problem. Our experience was great.Parking: Parking is okay but it can definitely use more room. It can be a challenge trying to back your vehicle out because of lack of space.Kid-friendliness: Children are given a paper menu and crayons when seated. They can do puzzles and color.“
“I’ve been coming to this place for over 10 years, used to stop by to grab breakfast on the way to the city for work. Now I work in the neighborhood so I’m always going there for breakfast and lunch. Manny and his staff are great and so is the food! Love this place!!“
“Mouthwatering, super CLEAN, LOW PRICE, juice bar! best water at low price. THE BEST DELI in Manhattan!!! You can seat at a comfortable chair and tables ❤️ I paid $12 for two sandwiches with all in it! Toasted!!! ?Dietary restrictions: Smoothie bar!“
“Small little diner under the McDonald Avenue train tracks that serves up typical diner fare. Be aware that it's quite loud inside give the location but the staff is very friendly. They also sell beverages in a fridge if you have to grab and go.“
“Greeted with Christmas music, Christmas tablecloths and the friendliest of staff, the Christmas spirit is well and truly in Queens!! The service was super fast with quality food and quantities to start the day off right, thank you!! ??“
“I knew this place was going to be good — I love hole in the wall joints. And boy, was I right. The food was on point, the price cannot be beat, and Anthony, my server, was delightful.5/5 across the board and definitey will be returning!“
“Came here for breakfast with coworkers and was pleasantly surprised. Ive never tried cream cheese and lox and didn’t think I’d be a fan of it. We came here the service was friendly we started with latkes and then I got a bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon and sturgeon it also had onions tomatoes and capers on it. Everything was delicious“
“We had a wonderful breakfast in this charming cafe on our recent visit to the area. My latte was beautiful and delicious. Avo smash was great and my companions enjoyed their breakfast choices. Cafe has a nice ambiance and great service. All the cakes on the display looked delicious. They also have an outdoor area. I loved the mugs we got with our coffee drinks!“
“The food is amazing and the service was great! The women who work there know the names of their regulars as I was waiting for my order they were greeting everyone and probably some of the nicest people I’ve met in New York. The food was great I got a bacon egg and cheese on a roll I’ve gotten it from a lot of places but this might be my new favorite. Their ice coffee is a great too and they make sure it’s exactly how you want it! If you’re thinking about going GO!“
