“I went to The Harbor Light with my grandfather who is hard of hearing. I cannot tell you how accommodating the staff was. We originally sat in an area where he was unable to hear well. The owner Bernadette and the server Annie opened up a whole other section in the restaurant for us that was quieter. They were so kind and we enjoyed a lovely lunch. I would definitely recommend this place. They truly care about their patrons. Thank you Harbor Light!“

“Me and my family love Cassidy’s. We go to NY every year for Christmas. This year we had a group of 23 and Seamus was able to accommodate us with a reservation. Our waiter was Joe C. ,who was great. It’s not easy waiting on a large group of people, but he was super patient and kind.“

“I had such a wonderful experience at Royale. First it has an awesome bar and restaurant indoors and the space outdoors is beautifully decorated. I have celiac disease and they had the most delicious gluten free nachos (made on site) ever! They were perfect. I was so happy I could have them and they were excellent! Great atmosphere and food! Vegetables are not fresh & not enough quantity. “Been there a few times. I must say food is fantastic!!! The fish tacos and the southwestern chicken sandwich is a must try. They have different specials everyday. Friendly atmosphere, service is very attentive. Love trivia nights and live music on Saturdays. So far is my favorite place to go with friends and family. Great spot for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Highly recommended!!“

“Wu Lou Lounge is one of those spots that feels a little sketchy when you first pull up, but that’s part of the charm. It’s old school, unpretentious and very much its own vibe.

Security is thorough and effective. Be prepared for a full pat down and bag check, even at 5pm for happy hour. They take it seriously. The staff is cool in that classic NYC way. Not Southern hospitality sweet, but warm, direct and welcoming.

The food is fresh, tasty, piping hot and highly affordable, $.60cent wings on Tuesday. Definitely a strong point. Drinks come in smaller cups, but they start at $5, which is unheard of these days. It’s also one of the last remaining spots that still allows indoor smoking, if that’s your thing.

The music is solid and keeps the energy up. The crowd is fun, outgoing, and far from stiff or bougie. This is not a fancy baller lounge, so dress and move accordingly. You don’t need anything shiny or expensive to have a good time here (wink wink leave the bling & mink coat home). Just come ready to enjoy yourself.

If you’re looking for polished and upscale, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for authentic, affordable and a good time with personality, Wu Lou delivers. This is classic Brooklyn, before gentrification and redevelopment.“

“Drove an hour just to come here for Premier League Morning. The bar was packed, drinks were flowing and the staff was having a grand time with patrons. Ordered the fish and Chips and a Heineken, my buddy got the Full Irish Breakfast, some wings, and a couple beers. The Cod beer batter was fantastic, super crispy fish that melts in your mouth. The buffalo sauce on the wings was also tasty. Prices are great for cash customers as well. My only negative is that when the door keeps opening the place starts FREEZING especially at the bar area but quickly warms up again when closed. Honestly a gem of a sports bar.“

“Great chill spot with chill bartenders and other patrons. Single cash payment pool table is amazing. Two fun old school game machines. Always cool and never hot inside during these summer days. Today is almost 90 degrees and it's nice inside of Denny's! One large big screen TV's on the opposite side of the bar and two medium sized TV's facing the bar which are all great and perfectly placed. Cool dart board game available as well. Atm machine that always comes in clutch for me as this is a cash only bar which is my preferred method of payment anyways at bars. In addition to the great atmosphere they sell delicious pretzels, pizz, a great selection of beer with the Lagunitas IPA in a chilled glass from a perfectly temperatured tap as my go to and a great liquor selection. Bringing outside food is very welcomed as well.“

Whether you wanna do some work on your laptop on a chill tuesday afternoon or watch a game on a busy thursday or dance in a packed room on friday or saturday, Donny has the best prices and bartenders in the LES. They are always fast and quick to help. Totally recommend especially for happy hour. One of the best deals in the LES.“
