“I have been to La Bola a few times for lunch and love their sandwiches on foccacia. Recently I went to a holiday party there and it was out of this world! What a cool place to have an event! They put out several different spreads to graze on, one was an eggplant and fig foccacia- fantastic. I also really enjoyed the craft cocktail options they had for the event which were winter themed. I will most definitely be back for lunch (or dinner) and I hope to get to go for an event there again.“

“We hosted our wedding reception here and had absolutely the best night! We had a list of demands and things that really needed to be done and Kristen made every one of them work. Every guest we had was amazed and loved the space and the atmosphere. The drinks were delicious and they were flexible on when we were able to open and close our tab. We would absolutely host another event here!“

“Such a cool place! Small taproom with a huge selection of canned/bottled beer available, a handful of arcade tables, and lots of good events.
Clean unisex restroom with a changing table-- there were even some diapers when I went! There were also high chairs available.
To my eye, it's good for accessibility: all on one floor, with automatic sliding doors on the side entrance. The stools inside might be a bit tight for a wheelchair.“

“From time to time work brings me into Rochester. During a trip my co-worker brought me to Georgie’s for an amazing Cubano w/chicharrones. I enjoyed the food and chats with Georgie. Stand-up guy with an amazing café. So glad to see him and his family putting amazing food out after all of these years. You will not be disappointed!“

“First time visit! Fabulous atmosphere. Super chill and cozy vibe. Friendly staff and excellent menu! I had the Cenobite (Love the homage to Hellraiser BTW) which is Earl Gray tea with Lemon, Vanilla, Milk and Black Pepper. Fabulous! I could start my day like this every day if I lived in city. Highly recommend!“

“Great beer as always! Good selection from IPAs to sours to stouts. I haven't had their food in a while, but nice never been disappointed and they usually have great vegetarian options!
Swiftwater is fairly family-friendly with changing tables in both restrooms (though I can only vouch for the ladies' room, where it's in the accessible stall!) but no high chairs that I've seen.
In terms of accessibility, there are no motorized doors so some folks may need help getting in, but there are also no stairs to manage.
Vegetarian options: Always at least one great-looking main!
Kid-friendliness: Changing tables in both restrooms, no high chairs, no kid-specific area but it's very casual and staff have always been great about us walking our baby around
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, but the main entrance and bathroom doors are not motorized which may make it difficult to get in.“

“10/10! I was blown away. Absolutely hands down one of Rochester’s best restaurants. Friendly and quick staff and the food… 🤤 oh the food. The food was DELICIOUS! Cooked to perfection, and as 2 chefs on a date who are highly critical of others cooking, we were BOTH impressed. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, and presentation was impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I took some pics & vids and have a smaller social media of 22K that i plan on directing to go to this extremely good restaurant if they are in the Rochester area. The cocktails are presented with class and flare as well. If you’re looking for that perfect place for a romantic date night dinner, business meeting or just a foodie… this is a MUST-GO! Thanks to the amazing chef who was so accommodating! We will definitely be back!“

“Loved visiting the IBC with my boyfriend and dog! All of the staff were super helpful and friendly ? the food was also very delicious - I had the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and my boyfriend had the IBC burger. The onion rings were so good too! There are a variety of beers, as the name would suggest, but I loved the Three Brothers cider that is currently on the menu.“

“This is by far the best plate in Rochester!! The garbage plate wrap is AMAZING! They also have a sauce called panther sauce that elevates the plate! The only suggestion I have is they need to figure out the phone situation. I feel like they unplug the phones on purpose so they don’t have to take more orders. This makes it hard when wanting to order ahead, we have to drive there and hope for the best when it comes to a wait time. Other then that I HIGHLY recommend!“

“Have debated going for months, the price adds up quickly for multiple people (myself and 3 kids) but finally decided to try it today. Such a cozy little place. Amazing selection of food and drinks, everything is customizable, very friendly employees, quality is absolutely worth the cost. “We used Caramel for our wedding desserts! My husband and I had a special connection to Caramel, since we had a lot of date nights there, so we knew we wanted them to be involved. They were very easy to work with. Very responsive over email. We did a little tasting box and were able to pick exactly what we wanted. We picked up the desserts the day before the wedding and they were ready on time. The mini desserts were perfect for what we wanted for our guests and SO delicious. My mom won’t stop asking if we have more carrot cake truffles hidden somewhere! They also did our small cutting cake which was delicious. Highly recommend them!“

“We recently had a surprise 40th birthday celebration for my daughter. There were 14 guests. We had brunch on a Sunday. Everything was wonderful. The General Manager, Webster was great to work with. He was very professional as well as personable. The staff was amazing. Very polite & we had exceptional service. The food was delicious. Everyone was very pleased with what they had. We would highly recommend the Brown Hound.“

“Went here for the first time recently to grab a quick lunch with a friend and loved it. Such a cute little spot with great vibes - I imagine it can get really busy during a dinner service - I had their Mediterranean mule and love it! “Food, atmosphere, server very good! Bruce picture of mimosas is where it's at. My only reason it's not 5 stars is that we had a weird miscommunication with he server. 2 people at the table asked for a side of churros and the other had chicken and churro entree. The server came over and said that they can't do the churros and so the person with the chicken and churros ordered side of fries instead and they 2 others with the sides of churros asked for sides of bacon instead. Fast forward, all of us got our entress instead of 1 person. They waited 15 minutes longer than everyone else. Then all of a sudden 3 sides of churros came out. The server said ok the kitchen is trying these. So now at this point everyone had their replacement sides and now 3 sides of churros. We assumed they "were testing them" since that's what the server said and they would be on the house since now that's too much food. But when we got the bill we were charged for the curros and the other sides. It was just confusing overall with the communication on that and then also we got charged for sides and the cjurros when we wanted 1 or the other not both. The manager, which I think is the owner was very nice and they comped the churros. It sounded like the server told them that we didn't like the churros, but it was more of the principle of being charged. Would definitely go back, I would never hold a miscommunication against a restaurant, but just wanted to voice a few things. Overall cool new spot“

“This was my first time ordering a cake for my dog and it made his 11th birthday so special! We got the 5” single round hound cake. They were very communicative about my order and any questions I had! The ingredients in the cake and the treats are high quality and healthy for dogs. It also looked perfect. My dog couldn’t wait to dig in! He also loves the treats sold there (I got him the birthday ones). There’s also a space in store for all sorts of treats and toys, I will bring him along next time. Thanks for making my dog’s birthday special!“

“Lovely place to sample and enjoy some local hard ciders. Sitting on the patio looking out from their perch on a hill is so nice. They have nice and different selections so getting a flight to share...or get your own...is a great idea. They also have a few snack/ appetizer items. We had the pretzel and 3 dips which was very good and a generous size. The personnel were all very friendly and informative. Spending a spell there on a lovely day I highly recommend.“
