“What a hidden little gem in the Hudson Valley. The farm to table cuisine is awesome, the service is warm and welcoming, and the drinks aren’t bad either 😋. We had a Bolognese with short rib, the brussels sprouts, and don’t leave without eating the olive oil cake. Incredible.”

“I always enjoy visiting Christopher Jacobs Winery at Pennings Vineyard. My fiancee and I often make the hour long trip to experience the warm and welcoming environment created by the owners, Chris and Monica. We have attended many fun events in both the summer and fall. The property is very versatile; you can take in a Hudson Valley sunset while watching live music from the outdoor patio or play board games with your kids in the indoor tasting room. The wines are rich and full of flavor. We always look forward to our next visit whether it’s with our friends, co-workers, or other wine enthusiasts.”

“We totally enjoyed our food tonight - the ginger tea, soup and appetizers were delicious and our dinners... perfection! It wasn’t easy but we had to wrap up some of our dinners to take home because we wanted desserts - from the mango pudding, vegan cheesecake and the ice cream we all had something we really enjoyed. Look forward to coming back again soon!”

“We went here on 4th of July because the place we planned to go was closed. Thank goodness!! This place was 100 times better!!! The owner and staff were so attentive and sweet!! It’s rare to find a place with amazing customer service these days. These ladies nailed it!! The food was incredible!! What a fantastic find!! Their Sunday Brunch menu was 🔥!! “I stop in frequently to grab sushi from Snowfox inside hannaford in Pine Bush. The sushi is always delicious! I generally go for the tuna and avocado roll, salmon avocado or the larger platters with a mix of tuna and salmon rolls & nigiri. The sushi chefs are very nice and will always be happy to make you something you don’t see out yet or if you want it extra fresh! I highly recommend trying them if you love yummy, quick on the go sushi :) My photo shows the empty containers because I devoured it all while writing this review.”

“I NEVER got ice cream and milkshakes so much from an ice cream shop more then when I moved to pine bush and discovered Hometown! The ice cream is so good. Not only that but the food is amazing! Not for nothing but teenagers working there and the food still being quality and delicious I’m super impressed. Also, they are always the sweetest! Never a bad experience”

“Usually the food is very yummy… and normally I would give 4-5 stars. I think they had an off night tonight and our pizza was kinda crappy… every slice had big bubbles… one slice was just one big bubble with no sauce or cheese. Fried dough and fried Oreos were yum though!”

“What a great place to have an awesome experience. I’ve been in the food industry for too many years to count. With that being said… most places that I visit it’s easy to point out the flaws. Yeah I’m a foodie, so I can be a bit critical with the whole experience. I have to say from start to finish it was 100% flawless. From meet and greet, water on the table to empty desert plates it is always a home run. The ambiance of the outdoor dining space looking over the pond is breathtaking to say the least. This place is definitely the gem of Walker Valley, and definitely a go to restaurant for great food and great service!”
