“We took our family there tonight and it was an incredible dinning experience! We have kids ages 13, 12, 9 and 7. The 9 year old wanted the lobster dinner which we let him try! He had a blast. Kelly the waitress went so far above and beyond to help him and entertain our kids. The kids were curious about seeing a live lobster and she brought one out before dinner and at the end. At the end she gave an entire science lesson to the kids. The food was great too.“

“Great service, great atmosphere. Disappointed to order the lobster roll on a brioche bun and have it come out on a hotdog bun. Bloody Mary states “all garnishes” however only served with a lime. Waitress was absolutely wonderful just a heads up on the substitution would’ve been nice.“

“Butcher Block and the ADK Room catered our daughter's wedding and went above and beyond! The venue had no water, gas, or electric and they served a hot dinner. Chicken is very hard to make and keep well, and weddings are notorious for 'meh' chicken, but this was fantastic! Everyone raved about how good the chicken and real mashed potatoes were! Caroline and her staff went out of their way to make the whole reception a wonderful experience. We couldn't be more pleased. THANK YOU!!!“
“This place is excellent old fashioned service, Mark and Kathy are amazing people. I'd recommend staying here to anyone who enjoys a perfect relaxing time and being treated like people by other people not just customers! Also the food at the restaurant is just phenomenal 5/5 from me“

“Dinner at Castaway On The Bay tonight was so delicious. Bonus, they have a wee playground right next to it where we could have the kids play while we waited for a table on their beautiful deck looking at the Green Mountains. The biggest hit was their pretzel appetizer and pizza, the kids were nuts for them. And that cheese was 👌 I dipped my burger in it.“
