“First time here and it didn’t disappoint!!! The atmosphere is so cute and the food was amazing! My son loved the breakfast sandwich and said the potatoes are some of the best he’s ever had (and he’s an expert!!) I devoured the BEST chipped beef I’ve ever had in my life!!! Iced coffee- also hit the spot!! And the owner is lovely- she checked on us and stayed to chat for a few minutes. She has done a fantastic job and we will definitely come back!!“

“Just have to give a quick shoutout to Hard Bean on Merrick Ave. Victor and his wife Elise opened 10 days ago just north of the train station. My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.“

“I love this place!!! I come here to get my work done on my laptop and I love the fact that they have cozy couches & armchairs besides regular chairs for long term sitting (They have Wi-Fi). So cozy, comfortable and inviting. The staff is super friendly and they make good drinks! (I love their Chai Latte and Iced/Hot Peach Coconut Matcha Latte). They have really chill music too (indie rock/60s rock/Radiohead etc.). They also have live music events with performers and bands on certain days, where the locals join in and show support. They have a selection of food as well (BLT, Avocado Toast, Muffins, Cookies, Scones and more). Overall, great service, good food & drinks and very nice atmosphere!!“

“I’ve been to every local coffee shop you could think of within the radius of Oceanside to Long Beach. Without doubt this is THE best local coffee shop in the area. Small, quaint little hole in the wall type of shop next to the Oceanside train station that puts out THE best coffee and baked goods. The Pistachio Tiramisu was a total knock out, so so so so good. The owner Vish has to be one of the nicest people I’ve met as well. A hands on owner you can find behind the counter whipping up coffees or out on the patio engaging with his guests. Very nice spot I highly recommend coming here. Their cold brew is the best.“

Mushroom soup was perfect with a drizzle of olive oil.
Gnocchi was so fresh and satisfying.
Strawberry Hazelnut Crepe dessert was heaven on earth.
The architecture has a light Italian beach front feel and great energy.

“It’s amazing to have massapequa perk open and safe during Covid. And my once a week thrill gives me life. We appreciate you, and can’t wait for this to be over. I take my walks through Massapequa to Massapequa Park and always bring my dog. I understand that I can’t bring him in but I totally forgot and was politely asked to keep him outside. “My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. Kudos to them for a really great place, definitely go visit!“

“I must admit I'm from Roosevelt and definitely do not remember this eatery. Anyway again I must admit the food was delicious. I had the fried whiting with french fries (the fries and the seasoned batter on the fish was also delicious). My daughter had the vegetable omelet with pepper jack cheese. I tasted her food and had to get an order of that omelet with home fries to go. The ladies in the back doing the cooking has been blessed to serve as well as cook. My food was served hot and that was definitely a plus. Trust me try the place you won't be disappointed. The server Dave was very accommodating and definitely earned his tip. “It was my first time coming into playa bowls Merrick and I was helped by Alicia and Quin they had amazing customer service. I was confused by the huge selection of açaí bowls and had many questions and they were happy to answer them with no hesitation.I eventually chose my açaí bowl and it was very flavorful filled with fresh fruit and delicious. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Playa Bowls Merrick.“

“I like to eat their Bacon Lettuce Tomato Sandwich, Grilled Cheese Panini, Chips, 2 donuts, and Strawberry Iced Lemonade it’s very good.
I enjoyed the sandwiches and the grilled cheese panini wasn’t that bad. When I looked at the donuts they had different variety of donuts to choose from like Chocolate Dip Donut, Vanilla Dip Donut, Boston Creme Donut, Maple Dip Donut, and more. The Strawberry Lemonade was so good. Next time I’ll try the TimBits to see if I like them or not.“

“The everything bagel was covered in salt I couldn’t eat it , but the coffee was great and the barista was very attentive. Everyone seems positive with one another and work very well. The line was long but they know how to keep it moving. My coffee was delicious I had the special flavor Strawberry ( it was mixed with another flavor I forgot what) , can’t wait to go again!“

“I ordered cookies from Chip City on Uber Eats. The cookies were delivered at a reasonable time.
The cookies are huge so you can share. I recommend you purchase different kinds of cookies because the size of cookies allows people to taste different flavors. The cookies definitely will satisfy your sweet tooth or cravings. The cookies are moist and have the right amount of crunch. I enjoy tasting all the different kinds of cookies.

“The Farmingdale Diner has some of the best staff working today, and the managers treat you like family. They cater to food sensitivities and are very good with how they treat kids with their seasonal activities. The service is great and I’ve never heard anyone complain about the food. It is the one diner my family and I always frequently come to. Thank you for taking good care of your customers.“

“Easily the best morning spot in Long Beach! This whole team has got it down pat and they put love into everything they make; morning buns, croissants, matchas and coffees to boot! We live primarily DC but so look forward to visiting family in LB and taking our kids over to grab a fresh baked anything!
