“Dudes this is at a travel stop. You know what you're getting. If you want 5 stars you'd do well to exit the thruway. My cheeseburgers were all onion and mustard, and my kids nuggets looked double fried. It was fast though, and that is what matters when you're driving 10 hours a day.“

“My husband and I had a very rare day together when we did not have our kids, or were working separate shifts, so we wandered out, and decided we wanted real coffee so we stopped at Gretchen's. As we walked to the door it said CLOSED, as they typically are on Mondays, however, they saw us and immediately opened the door and welcomed us in!! I was shocked! I felt horrible, but they really did their best to accommodate us, and my husband got the drink he wanted, and I got a hot Americano, which was great! I was just astonished at the humanity and customer service. Real people here at Gretchen's!!“

“We went once and my husband and I decided we had to make it a weekly tradition immediately.. And then it became more than weekly. The drink options are unique and phenomenal (so many flavor options!!!!), pricing is fair, it's great for kids (peanut butter hot chocolate is AMAZING), the baked goods are top notch and there's a cute little library as well as local shops. “A+ eatery in all regards. I’ve begun bringing my vegetarian teen in regularly for special 1x1 days. I’ve loved every menu item I’ve ordered, as has my teen. The atmosphere is wonderful. The lighting is bright. The dining area is spacious and quiet. This is an excellent place to grab a cup of coffee and have a peaceful moment. The coffee is always ready within a day or two and Tom is more than willing to explain the various bllends so you can choose the best one for your taste,“
