“Excellent Peruvian food in Port Chester. The ambiance is bare-bones, with huge TVs on either side of the dining room so that you will be watching something however your chair is facing. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is some of the best in Westchester. Everything is phenomenal, from the soft, warm, toasty rolls they bring you in the beginning, which come with both butter and a spicy green sauce, to the main courses. I am a big fan of fried fish, which is fried tilapia. It comes with either French fries and salad or rice and beans. I have also had the bistec milanese and sampled the lomo saltado- everything is delicious. The best side you can order here is the sweet maduros/platanos which come out very hot, but are some of the best I've ever had.“
“I felt at home since the moment I walked in. Staff was very corteous, the menu was delightful, the food was amazing! The quality and quantity of the serving plate was great. The owner was very kind, she came over to give us a warm welcome and recommended some delicious options. I recommend this place 100% !!“
“Few restaurants are consistently better on every visit, Capers is one. We went with another couple for dinner. Wine was Ken Wright Pinot Noir-excellent. Appetizers were Squid and Tricolore Salad. Salad was very good, didn't try the Squid, but it smelled incredible. Entrees were Chicken Martini, Mussels, Short Ribs and Yellowfin tuna.- all very good. Service is great.“
“Welcoming, New Peruvian Restaurant in Byram, right on the Greenwich CT and Port Chester NY border. Greeted by a smiling hostess asking how she could be of assistance. I ask for a take-out menu and was guided to the dinner menu. Wanting to stay with Peruvian food I was familiar with, I went with: Chupe de Camarones; Ceveche de Pescado; and Saltado de Camarones. The shrimp soup was a little different, but as good as, any that we have had in this area. The broth had a little more milk than others and I don't believe I've ever had a couple of small pieces of chicken in the soup either. The "stir-fry" shrimp, with scallions, tomatoes, and peppers over French fries w/a nice side of white rice was very tasty. The marinated mixed fish was extremely fresh and properly marinated at the same time. It is one of the very best Ceveche's we've had in a very long time! Will we be back.....?We can't wait to sample the rest of their menu.“
“This would be our first time trying Peruvian. The place is small but delivered very highly on flavor. We ordered the lomo saltado and the arroz con mariscos. Both dishes were super flavorful. Lomo saltado was the best of the two. If in the neighborhood and don’t care for the ambience, I highly recommend this place for adventurous eaters!“
“I got the chicken empanadas and at first I was really happy with them! The potato inside was incredibly tender and the empanada shell (?) was perfectly crispy, the salsa was also very good! Unfortunately, I wasn’t a huge fan of the chicken inside. The 2 I got both had a lot of weird fatty pieces that ultimately turned me off despite the initially great flavor. Pro-tip, definitely know your order in Spanish before going in! When I was there, the nice young lady who took my order didn’t seem to speak english so a customer helped me out :)“
“Have visited this restaurant several times over the past three months! The food is quite flavorful and portions are reasonable for the price! You really can't go wrong with any of the Dinner Menu Selections! The restaurant is not that there is rarely any waiting time for a seat unless it's a party of Five or More!“
“Pretty laid back as for an early summer Sat dinner. Went to cou ter to order and got my order pretty quickly. I had the 1/2 chicken with fries and salad. Was pleased with all this. Yum!The beverages did not include non-augar options of their Inca Cola, Coke, Pepsi, and assorted nectars. So I just had plain tap.“
“Food was AMAZING!!!!!!! Went on a Saturday night with my husband… unexpectedly for dinner. We sat at the bar. The beautiful ladies at the bar were very professional. They were funny and made made some really good drinks. The food was very flavorful, fresh and tasty. We’ll definitely be back.Parking: Parking on the street.“
“This pan-Latin restaurant is a must if you are in the area. The menu had several interesting Tapas selections, which could serve as appetizers, sides, or even your main course. There were also traditional main course options, as well. We ordered a variety of fish tacos, calamari salad, brussel sprouts, and of course guacamole and chips to whet our appetites. Each were scrumptious. I had the braised beef as my main course which was moist, delicious, and just the right portion. We shared churros for dessert, which were light, crunchy, and simply divine. Service was very attentive with plenty of staff. Valet parking was a nice touch, particularly since parking can be a challenge in the area. Overall, a very fun and enjoyable dining experience.“
