“Deising’s bakery is hidden gem of Kingston. It’s small town dinner meets incredibly bakery . My wife and had lunch there today and it was awesome . The staff are super friendly and accommodating . The food is reasonably priced and portion size is more than reasonable . The bake goods are delicious The only issue is there is limited parking but circle around the parking lot you won’t regret it .“

“I stop here every now and then when I'm driving upstate to my brother's place by Rhinebeck. Him and his wife and kids (lots of kids) are all vegan, so I can generally get a good variety of treats for the house. The bakery products always look lovely and the store's overall aesthetic is very nice, but I find the actual taste and flavors to be very hit or miss- some things are excellent, some very mediocre- but there's so few vegan options upstate, so this spot is certainly filling a void. However, the staff very frequently are unwelcoming, sometimes to the point of outright rudeness. They seem to treat their paying customers in a very snobbish manner for some reason, which is unfortunate. I often walk out wondering why the overall experience was so strange, but I guess it's just something that you have to live with if you want to have a vegan dessert in the Hudson Valley.“

“What a cute place. We got a beautiful loaf for farm sourdough, and some coffees. We didn’t plan on sitting down but service was so nice and we saw there was wifi. Decided to stay and do some work. The vibe was great, from staff and customers, so friendly. Ended up staying for an hour and bought a bunch of cookies which were so good! Place is very clean too:)“

“We drove here from Woodstock while on vacation and the drive was absolutely worth it. Not only were the doughnuts awesome but the people could not have been friendlier. We had chicken and doughnuts, delicious old school doughnuts and great coffee. While we waited we were offered advice on several things to do in the area while on vacation. It was a great experience and if I’m ever anywhere near Rondout again, I’ll go out of my way to stop in again.“

“This place is great and I can't recommend it enough. Not only is the quality of food amazing but the staff and service have always been extremely friendly, welcoming with a non-pretentious attitude. This place is accesible for local Kingston residents, unlike some of the gentrification cafes that have popped up in recent years that cater strictly to tourists or recent, wealthy transplants. The prices here are actually fair- like it doesn't cost $12 for a breakfast sandwich with no meat on it- fair. Very clean and like I said, high quality taste in food. I always get a breakfast sandwich but their lunch options are great too. There is no better place to get a breakfast sandwich in Kingston. I love Fat Cat !“

“A great place for breakfast! We got lattes, an almond crossaint, and the egg and cheese sandwich. Everything was delicious and the service was fast and friendly even on a busy Sunday morning.They had a great beer selection and some unique grocery items, too!“

“This is the best place to order a special cake. Any time there is a special occasion, I order a cake from The Cake Box. Everyone always raves about them! It's so much better than the big box store cakes! They also have great pastries, bread, rolls, and coffee cakes!“

“10 out of 10! The food is all homemade. The bread.......I could go on and on for days. Please do yourself a favor....EAT HERE! Homemade soups, the BEST AVO toast. The line moves quick so don't be scareddddd. 10 stars for real, quality food.“

“I've been getting their gluten free products for years at local farmer's market and their breads are absolutely delicious. I love their peasant bread and the scones are amazing. I'm always stocking up whenever I can and their breads last me throughout the week without needing to be refrigerated (though they do freeze well). Their breads aren't crumbly and they don't fall apart like many other gluten free breads. Their prices are very fair and I always have a nice interaction with the people who run their stands at the farmer's market. I highly recommend if you're gluten free or just looking for some delicious baked goods with quality ingredients that come at a fair price!“

“Annabelle's made a 6" birthday cake for my wife that was chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and a raspberry layer - it was delicious and beautiful! The decoration and writing was beautiful, and the cake itself was perfectly prepared. I'm so glad Annabelle's is here, and can't recommend her cakes enough!“

“The hype real! These cupcakes are really good. They are not too sweet, and the cake part was moist. I love the icing on the red velvet. It was a perfect balance. The chocolate icing is actually chocolate fudge! My only regret was that I should've gotten more!!! I will definitely be back the next time I visit the Catskills again.“
