“I've never been to this small chain before but I've been interested.Had a specialist appointment far from home and rushed out late w no time for breakfast.Popped in after my appointment in hunger fog with emerging caffeine headache. I ordered the first few things I saw on the sign - no questions or investigation as to what I ordered - just wanted food asap.It's straight forward, fresh, and delicious. I'm in the parking lot mobile ordering a coffee elsewhere and it is taking extreme discipline to not pop in for one more crispy-chicken taco to go. I'm stuffed and need that caffeine STAT but the sauce on the chx taco was soooo good.Young ppl on shift friendly and polite.Dining room painted cute. Thematically related music piped in at comfortable volume. (Was hoping for a little Fania All Stars but to be fair that's more NYC Latin not really Tex-Mex).Will return on the day of my next appointment w this doctor - and will explore other locations hoping ? they're similarly satisfying.“
“We just came from another fantastic time at Mojitos. Israel is a talented chef who makes sure you love your food & the atmosphere. For Mexican & Salvadoran food - every single entree we’ve gotten there (about 15 diff things) has been fantastic.There’s the regular Mexican dishes offered but the Salvadoran dishes are exquisite. The flavors are perfectly blended from the appetizers of guacamole & delicious salsa to the entrees of amazing steak & chicken dishes to the melt-in-your-mouth desserts… This is our go-to place for a guaranteed great night. We’ve never left dissatisfied.Thx Israel!Vegetarian options: There’s a delicious creamy garlic cheese & rice dish. “Shared 4 assorted tacos (fish, lengua, birria & carnitas) with my wife for snack, craved for more. I don’t usually get Lengua (tongue) because of funky after taste from previous experience. At Mala Madre, lengua was so tender, butter and beefy. Will definitely come back for more.“

“The owner of this restaurant, Victor, is the main star here. I have never met a restaurant owner that has shown such incredible hospitality like Victor has. He is incredible and the main reason we will always come back. The food is outstanding as well. The shrimp enchiladas are my go to every time. The shrimp is always cooked perfectly and cut into small pieces which I love. The sauce on the enchiladas is so flavorful and delicious that I dip my chips in it as well. My boyfriend loves the burrito! He gets it every time as well. The restaurant is cozy and has a rei Mexican authentic feel to it. We're so grateful to have Victor and his amazing restaurant so close to us!“
“Another restaurant, Another creation by Chef Carlos but same authentic, same taste. Used to go hicksville restaurant on regular basis. Last night visited this location but missed to meet the Chef Carlos. It's beautiful restaurant, beautiful ambience, beautiful setup of tables. Bar is excellent addition. And food as I said earlier, is mouthwatering delicious ?. Service is great. Must try this location. Definitely going back again.Chicken burrito and shrimp burrito with mama's way, it super delicious. Perfect balance if all ingredients.“
