“Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! The entire staff from front and back of house are very friendly. So glad we found them and looking forward to going back! We HIGHLY recommend them!“

“Kaur & Sunita were very kind in greeting me & my friend. They both were patient and gentle in preparing our meals. My veggie quesadilla was delicious and made exactly as I asked.
Veggie Quesdilla: sprinkled with light cheese, bell peppers, lettuce, cilantro, tomatoes, red cabbage, spinach, & tofu.

“If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, look no further. This small family-owned shop is putting out some of the best tacos I’ve had in this area. Everything was fresh and delicious. It’s a tiny space with a big personality, and the service from the family is top-notch. A must-visit!“

“Amazingly delicious food and equally fantastic staff!! We ate there earlier today and were blown away! They even made something that we requested that wasn't on the menu and it was better than we've ever had! The atmosphere was fun and welcoming too! “The food is great but when you get take out .. no container is closed. I had to close my meals. The foil one was a sabotage cause goodness if I didn’t catch that my food would’ve spilled! The plastic container wasn’t closed I snapped it closed so .. please be aware when you package the food.“

“We got the homemade guacamole, along with carnitas & pastor tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious! Would definitely eat and recommend this place for tacos.
The only thing I would suggest for them to do, is maybe put a curtain over the eye sore in the room.“

“IT WAS HORRIBLE. AS A MEXICAN I DO NOT APPROVE, THIS PLACE HAD BAD BAD FOOD, FIRST OF ALL THEY SERVED ME AN ORANGE WITH TACOS, WHO DOES THAT? WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND GIVE ORANGES WITH TACOS, NUH UH. ALSO, I FOUND OUT THAT THEIR GUACAMOLE IS NOT EVEN MEXICAN RECEPIE, IT TASTED LIKE WASABI WITH TOO MUCH MAYO EXPECT IT WAS NOT EVEN WASABI, AND ALSO THERE WERE NOT ONLY HAIRS IN MY FOOD BUT THERE WA A FRAKING ROACH SINGING LA CUCARACHA WITH MEXICAN HAT AND LITTLE TINY MARACAS. “I have no real complaints. Our first server I guess went home early but the Host with curly hair and light eyes and the tall gentleman made sure everything was very well taken care of.. The viral Soft Serve Mango/ Strawberry margarita was on point and so was the guac... Happy Cinco De Mayo..“

“I usually come here after dancing with some friends who happen to be Mexican, and they enjoyed it as much as I do. It's a solid choice for a fast food stop. They're open until 3am, at least on weekends, and the staff always maintains a pleasant attitude and provides cordial service. If you're in the area, hungry, and want something quick, tasty, and reasonably priced, I'd recommend this place.“

“❤ My husband and I love Curbside in South Hempstead. Their crunchwraps are big enough to share. Our favorite is the Cowboy Crunchwrap with extra sauteed onions. I could eat only this for the rest of my life, provided, of course, we have sour cream!“

“I’ve ordered delivery from them twice now & both times those carne asada tacos were chefs kiss! 💋 they fill those tacos up (and double layer tortillas too) and add this delicious guacamole sauce/salsa… 10/10 and will be ordering more. $4.50 per taco is worth it here, period. You get your moneys worth.“

“One thing I miss about living in Long Island are the Tex-Mex restaurants. Yes, they're not of the highest quality, and usually they're in a cheap location, and the horrible customer service is always a given, but I do enjoy the food every once in a while.
After searching for a Tex-Mex restaurant, I stumbled across Taco King. This location is actually pretty big with plenty of sitting space. My usual go-to dish at a Tex-Mex place is the Grilled Steak rice platter, so I decided to stick with what I like. I thought the steak here was excellent. It came with one flour tortilla, rice, beans, salad, guac, and chili. The quality and proportion was better than what I expected.
However, it was crazy expensive. I know I sound old, but I remember that only a few years ago, the same dish was about $8 or $9. Now it's over $17! I would gladly eat here more often if the price was cheaper.“

They treat you with respect and dignity. When you order triple chicken, they give you triple. They do not scrimp.
This is the only Mexican chain restaurant that I will go to. The other one's portions are disrespectfully small.

“What seems to be a nondescript takeout joint located in a strip plaza belies a charming, homestyle spot with flavorful food made with care. Guacamole with fresh chips was so fresh with the just the right amount of onions, tomatoes, salt and lime. Beef flautas, as simple of a dish as they are, were some of the best I’ve tasted. Finally, the Pancita soup hit the spot - warm, spicy and velvety. On top of the food, the waitress was so friendly and welcoming. Top tier recommendation for great Mexican food. Tables are limited (I think about 5). If they had a liquor license, this would be an A+ spot.“

Good Mexican rice has a rough fluffy texture and a savory taste. The yellow rice they use here is slick and bland, like the kind of rice you get in a microwaveable bag. This is unfortunate because the rice makes up a good part of the burrito. I found myself emptying out as much rice out as I could.
Next time, I’ll pass on the rice.“

“This was was sensacional! Especially on 5 De Mayo.
The restaurant has such a nice vibe, lively- a variety of indoor + outdoor seating with nice touches of Mexican inspired decor. Hello calaberas & rancheras.
The food is so delicious, balanced, & fresh. Boyfriend & I ordered fish tacos, shrimp tacos, fried calamari, elote bowl, & churros. All was so yummy, nothing disappointed. The homemade sauces are delicias. The drinks were also well balanced & refreshing- strong & not too sweet.
Do recommend reservations, especially at night + on the weekends. We got there for our reservation & a line popped up, surrounding their restaurant footprint.
All in all- 10/10 absolutely do recommend! Certainly will be back! Happy Hour is only 12 pm - 7 pm- you're welcome ;)“
