Before we sat, two bread baskets were on the table, dipping dishes of oil and balsamic vinegar for the bread, water carafe and menus waiting for the seven of us. This was a Sunday night at 6:15 and the place was packed with customers. Matt P. , our waiter was attentive, anticipated what we would want, he helped make the dining experience enjoyable. The food portions were ample and reasonably priced. Some in our party ordered various kinds of pizza; the crust was reminiscent of what we ate in Italy; lovely. I had the pasta butera, great; others had the chicken parm and lastly the sausage fennel and pasta. The noise level was on the high side but we didn’t have too much trouble hearing each other. The desserts were very good (cannoli, flourless chocolate cake, tartoufo, chocolate lava cake and a root beer float) were all very good. If the tip was calculated at the typical 20% of the pretax total or double the tax, it would be too low to show how much we appreciated Matt P.“

“I really enjoy Falafel 🧆 and I was so happy when I saw this item on the menu during my first visit to Haddad's Middle Eastern Groceries and Cafe in the City of Poughkeepsie, NY. I ordered the Falafel 🧆 Plate with Hummus and a Salad 🥗. Although that’s all I really wanted the Owner suggested that I try a sample of Tabouleh and Babaghanough. It was slamming and definitely added to my meal. It was truly a very tasteful set of dishes!!!!!! I also had a nice cold Guava Drink to accompany my meal. Very nice healthy food. “I'm not easily impressed but Joseph's Italian Steakhouse really hit a home run on all levels. Best Prime Rib I've ever had, so tasty and cooked perfectly. The sides we equally delicious which elevated my whole experience. The hospitality was superb and judging by the looks on other patrons' faces, I assume others had a similar experience.“

I didn’t catch the young woman’s name but she was so helpful, answered all my questions and made me a custom drink- and even made sure I liked it! When we arrived we were told they don't have big table for our size party. They managed to add a table. The food was a 1.5 Everyone fries were over cooked the chicken was dry not a bit of Honey was tasted on the sandwiches. Tap water warm little to barely no ice. It took over 30 minutes to receive our meals no bread sticks salad nothing offered while we waited. It was a HORRIBLE DINNER. We asked if they have any Bday specials were told No. Do you sing Happy Birthday No. Mind you we were told by the person that recommended the place said they do sing Happy Birthday. I'm starting to feel it was a racial situation. Yet we still left tips. The Family had to go find Food upon leaving. The server was great it was her second day. I wish her well“

Billy and his team were a well-oiled machine working there. They knew the venue in and out. They also knew what to recommend for us for the venue. The day of the wedding, Spice Catering ensured that we ate and that we always had drinks if we wanted them. They were flexible with us in determining if we keep the ceremony/cocktail hour inside/outside due to the weather forecast. They also had plenty of staff to greet guests as they entered and to serve our guests. Erick, our maître d', helped our day of coordinator set everything up, take everything down, and ensure the timeline was followed smoothly. Erick was amazing to work with and took the time to get to know my husband and I to best support us on our wedding day. Our guests complimented how delicious and hot the food was and mentioned it as a highlight of the wedding. We HIGHLY recommend Spice Catering.“
