The ropa vieja was tasty but was missing the peppers 😏 The chimichurri chicken dish was tasty but cold and definitely not enough chimichurri spread on the chicken. The Down the Hatch seviche was tasty and a nice portion too. The steak lomo was too chewy (not a favorite) The drinks were delicious and not watered down. The ambiance was festive, pleasant with great music. The service was inviting, felt the loving. Highly recommended but not the Steak lomo dish.“

We were greeted upon entering the restaurant and there was no wait to be seated. You can also make reservations for the restaurant. The menu was on a QR code which I thought was really cool. Our waiter was very attentive. They kept checking on us to make sure everything was okay. We received our food rather quickly. The presentation of the food was absolutely beautiful. I ordered The Tamarind Airline Chicken. To be honest I was worried of how it would taste I was afraid the sauce would overpower the chicken but it was absolutely delicious. We also order Churrasco Argentino with shrimp. I ordered a Shirley Temple and a Passionfruit Margarita. For dessert we had the Chocolate Volcano Cake. The cake itself was good but I didn’t like the berries with it. I can’t wait to return for more of their delicious food. The restaurant accepts cash and card. This location is accessible via bus.“

It's that rare bar for the working class, the type of bar that isn't seen that often anymore because of all those new "hipster/fancy" bars being created or old bars turning into that as-well. It's the type of place you go after a hard days work, to be able to relax, and forget all those struggles a day at your job may provide. It's might be a a bit small, but not lacking in comfort at the same time.It's not only that, it's a place where anybody who wants to have a good time and relax can go. It's a place unchanged by time, but sometimes that's what people need. Sometimes people need a place that they can rely on, and be sure will always be there when you need it/the way you need it. The owner takes care of his bar and the people who go there. He's there everyday greeting customers, treating them like family, while embracing new customers as-well. “The food and atmosphere was very good , and there is parking right in front of the restaurant. The woman working there is very helpful, hardworking , and pleasant. The meat portion was very small however, and so lunch felt like it mostly consisted of rice and beans.“

“It was my first time trying Empanada Queen, a food truck in Baldwin, and overall, it was a decent experience. They had a deal for 10 empanadas for $28, so I decided to try a variety. I went with shrimp, beef, chicken, and mac and cheese empanadas. The flavors were all pretty tasty, with the shrimp, beef, and chicken being the standouts. However, I wasn’t a fan of the mac and cheese one—it just didn’t have the right texture or flavor I was expecting.

The wait time was short, which was a nice surprise, especially since it was freezing outside! I was glad to have the car to wait in while the food was being prepared.

One thing to note is that the outer shell of the empanadas was quite hard, which made them a bit tough to bite into. On the positive side, the fillings themselves were flavorful. The only other downside was that they only offer one sauce, which had a bit of spice to it. While I didn’t mind it, I wish there were a few more sauce options to choose from.

I'd still recommend it if you're in the area and craving empanadas.“
