WOW. Out of all the places on Liberty Ave, BB in my opinion, is hands down the most AUTHENTIC place for Guyanese Food.I'm stunned at just how identical the food was to my mom's cooking even down to the consistency of the dhal. I ordered the dhal, rice, shrimp curry and okra. And i actually had to take a moment, because I thought I was eating my mom's food.I love how they are also the only place on Liberty Ave to use the small shrimps in the shrimp curry. The only place you can walk in as soon as they open and receive fresh food ! You don’t have to worry about receiving yesterday’s leftovers .I really wished they deliver. They are very consistent in terms of the food quality and taste .

This is my first time trying Brown Betty food, I must admit it was flavorful and not spicy, the chicken was fried at the right temperature , when my nine year old complement a food it’s rare for me cause kids are picky with food, she enjoyed it and even ask for more, I definitely recommend this restaurant and will have them cater for my daughter birthday.
