“I was looking for a new karaoke bar to attend. I found out Shillelagh Tavern is an active venue for shows, open mic jamm sessions and karaoke. I went there on a Saturday night on karaoke night. It's starts a bit late. At 11:30 pm you can start picking your songs. I like the crowd. There were a lot of good singers. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The bar itself is also
great. They have a great selection of beers and well drinks. All the bartenders I dealt with were
professional and quick to attend to me. I recommend this lovely little off the beaten path watering hole. They don't sell food there, but they hold the menus for several take out places on the block. You can order from the menu and they will deliver it to you.“

It's your usual bar food, quite big portions. Free popcorn, and sometimes sour gummy.

Had the chicken cutlet burger. Slightly overcooked but still juicy and delicious.

“I hate a lot of places and their service. But I cannot recommend this place more!!! The service was perfect and they did exactly what we asked. The portions were great, and the food was very high quality and worth the wait. Which was not long. I had the jalapeno burger and the cod fish and chips and both were very fulfilling. The cod especially was high in taste quality. One of the best i've ever had. And the fries are really perfect. Their fryer must be clean and they must do a great job preparing. The place was very busy, but they were very fast.“

The servers were so friendly, professional and engaging with our family…their personalities are perfect for their jobs….thank you so much. The food was outstanding….first time we had the stuffed mushroom and they were amazing. All our appetizers, The London broil, turkey and pasta salad were just perfect. My guests were very happy. Came here on a cold snowy night just to grab a quick drink and get on the train. fortunately the vibes and atmosphere that “tala” created were memorable so I said forget that train and stayed. The jukebox has music you can select, the drinks are strong yet perfectly crafted. Never expected this from a hole in the wall dive bar. Thank you paddy’s thank you “tala” for introducing me to darts I never played before but they have it going on here !!! I can’t wait to be back !!!“
