Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. I am so grateful to Wolfe Tone's for being a great, reasonably priced, delicious, comfy and cozy place to celebrate post-race. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to host any kind of event. “Donovan’s Pub is owned by 2 Woodside gentlemen. The staff is amazing friendly welcoming and knowledgeable. The food is absolutely delicious and great portions. They have the Best Burger in NYC. It’s the best burger I have ever had. They have awesome live music every weekend on their brand new stage. Their lineup of musicians is the best around. I’ve been going there for 50+ years and I highly recommend Donovan’s Pub in Woodside NY.“

I could tell just from 1 visit O'Hanlons is a very community orientated bar who do so much for the people around them“

“I have very fond memories here, it was like a little home from home for me while I was bi Atlantic for 6 years, working on the same block as the Pig There are lots of “Irish pubs” in the vicinity, although this is the only one that felt like a real pub in the UK rather than a novelty in New York Hopefully I will be back again one day! Overall, we had a really nice time at this place. The atmosphere was pleasant, and everything we ordered tasted great.
However, the service was just a little *too* fast. The staff was incredibly attentive, but they started clearing dishes and taking plates from our table before we were completely finished. It made us feel a bit rushed to wrap up our meal.
Everything else was wonderful, but a little more breathing room between courses would make the experience perfect!“

“This place is amazing! It’s a centrally located Irish pub. EASY access to all the trains. Easily the best Guinness draft pour on most trips to the city. The coolest thing is you use the QR code to order from any of a half dozen different restaurants and the food is delivered to you in the large, open bar. Look for Elizabeth. She’s efficient, helpful, creative and friendly. Wonderful venue, right next to the escalators to trains running in every direction. Give them a try! (It was clean, comfortable and friendly.)“
