“Popped on on labor day while walking around town. Excellent irish pub with great atmosphere. Was relatively empty when we arrived but had an abundance of TV's. Only one bartemder/server/etc. But he was very attentive and cordial. We grabbed a few appetizers and beer. Food was good of the three items web ordered the wings were to best. Would definitely consider going back.“

“Donovan’s Pub is owned by 2 Woodside gentlemen. The staff is amazing friendly welcoming and knowledgeable. The food is absolutely delicious and great portions. They have the Best Burger in NYC. It’s the best burger I have ever had. They have awesome live music every weekend on their brand new stage. Their lineup of musicians is the best around. I’ve been going there for 50+ years and I highly recommend Donovan’s Pub in Woodside NY.“

“Travelled to NYC from London just after new year with my wife and son and researched before we came where to catch the game and this place was everywhere when I looked up places to watch Arsenal, I had to come and experience it and was not disappointed! extremely welcomed by the locals and regulars, beautiful atmosphere and very friendly topped off by the excellent bar staff and of course the legendary Christiano. I could tell just from 1 visit O'Hanlons is a very community orientated bar who do so much for the people around them“

“Great food, great Guinness, great vibes! Wolfe Tone's was absolutely FABULOUS on Marathon Sunday! Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. I am so grateful to Wolfe Tone's for being a great, reasonably priced, delicious, comfy and cozy place to celebrate post-race. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to host any kind of event. “We stopped at The Irish Exit at Moynihan Train Hall right after arriving in NYC, and overall we had a really good experience!
I started with the fried plantains, which I didn’t realize came topped with green sauce and cheese. The green sauce was DELICIOUS, but I absolutely hated the cheese 😂 so I ended up removing most of it. Once I did, I really enjoyed the plantains.

The boneless wings were probably the only disappointing part. They were pretty expensive for what you get, only five pieces, and honestly nothing particularly special. The fries, on the other hand, were really good and the portion was generous.

But the absolute star of the meal was the fried chicken sandwich with pickles and honey. OMG. The combination of crispy chicken, pickles and that sweetness from the honey was SO GOOD. After traveling and arriving hungry in New York, that sandwich genuinely made my day. 😂❤

A couple of things were hit or miss, but I would absolutely come back for that chicken sandwich. That alone was worth the stop!“

“I have very fond memories here, it was like a little home from home for me while I was bi Atlantic for 6 years, working on the same block as the Pig There are lots of “Irish pubs” in the vicinity, although this is the only one that felt like a real pub in the UK rather than a novelty in New York Hopefully I will be back again one day! “A unique little Irish pub that boasts a lot of character inside! Covered in quotes by poet and book and poetry themed drinks on the menu. The menu is still very familiar so nothing too out of the ordinary here. You can order a simple curated cocktail or a ginger and whiskey. Or you can add yourself to the droves of people who have accumulated enough Guinness pours to end up on their famous wall!! That was really fun to see. Some of the patrons have even hit 1000 guinesses!!!! The bartender was super friendly. They don't really have food here -- very modest priced popcorn or hot dogs. The atmosphere was great. Perfect spot to sit and have a classic pub drink with a little bit of personality along the walls. And I cannot stress enough how modest the prices are!!!!“
