“Finally got to eat there for St. Patrick’s day, the food was amazing could have had more corned beef for 30 dollars, but, it was delicious, my wife’s Sheperds pie was huge and she said the best, used to go to Lily Flanagans, no more. “I was actually at Flanigan‘s a week ago. Our food was delicious, the wine was very good, but the best part of the experience was the waitress, Sarah. She never stopped smiling, even though she was running around like crazy came over several times to make sure everything was fine. She is a very special server.“
“I was on a business trip to Islip, up from Florida. I usually look for a sports bar when I travel and this was close to the holiday inn where I was staying. Great atmosphere, girls behind the bar were very efficient and helpful. I ordered the "Irish Nachos" after reading it had a shepherds pie topping. I'm originally from England and so this caught my attention. The food was amazing, plenty of it, delicious and well priced. I swilled it down with a great pint of Guinness. Plenty of TVs to watch sport and comedies and music videos. Highly recommend it.“
“Recently went to see Irish dancers perform but ended up staying for hours! The staff and service were attentive and friendly even in the midst of a packed house.Ordered the Irish fries - have never had fries with curry sauce and they were fantastic. Ordered the pretzel which was enormous and served with an abundance of salami and cheese.All around, a great place and will definitely be back!“
“Just had a recent trip to the village idiot in Oakdale and it was fine. Unfortunately, our server was the only server working the floor and she had about 8 to 9 tables so there was an issue with getting served unfortunately. When asked for a drink, we asked for water with lemon, and unfortunately that never showed up. We finally stopped the bus boy and asked him for help. We had ordered a iced tea and it never came. It was on the bill at the end of the night so we had to have that taken off. What was weird was we were talking fairly loudly about the service and the owner or manager was sitting right next to us, taking up an entire booth paying his bills. He didn't look up he didn't move he never said hello Nothing... Very strange for the food service industry these days as most owners have become very big in greeting customers and making sure they have a good time so they return. All in all I'll give it a 3.5 out of five as the food was decent but again I've had crappy food but a great server and still had a great time. I hope that makes sense. And next time hopefully our server and the owner can be a little more engaging.“

The passed appetizers were delicious, the entrees we chose were great, the cake was yummy, the staff was very attentive with the drink orders and making sure we had everything we needed.
