“They are the best pupusas outside of El Salvador that I’ve ever had.

The curtido is fantastic.

Pupusas are fresh, and super tasty. My favorites are the Pumpkin Flower and Huitlacoche. Great place if you’re a vegetarian, and the meat options are also fantastic.

Now, they sell a really good horchata. And the large horchata is HUGE. A steal for 7 bucks (in NYC).“

“Food is always consistently delicious. I’ve ordered their food but when I’m on the go, I order their mix pupusas. And let me tell you, these people don’t mess around. They make sure everything is fresh. The tomato sauce is nice and thick. The cabbage taste crispy fresh. The restaurant itself is nice inside with lots of seating availability. “I have had a CANGREJOFONGO. It is mashed fried green plantain with crab meat. It tasted very well. No other place nearby makes this. It is prepared from scratch. It may take a while. The taste is worth the wait.I have had 3 pupusas with cheese and loroco. The tomatoe sauce has a great taste. The curtido also tastes good.I have also had a beef soup. This is so well cooked. The meat fell off the bone. They offered green hot sauce but it was not needed.I will continue coming here. They also do deliveries.“

Attention was great , the atmosphere was pleasant , most of the food was good but the tostones , patacones : they were from the frozen section of the super . They were not fresh , they were stale and quite flavorless . A restaurant should always offer fresh food , doing otherwise is a disrespect to the customer. This is not the first restaurant in college point that offers frozen stale fried green plantains . I have experienced this in many Latino restaurants . Strangely do You know where the patacones are always fresh : At the college point Chinese restaurants . So owner make a note and tell your cook to stop being lazy .“

“Had a 10 hour layover so stopped off here for a late breakfast. I’m glad we did - we only had $20 between us but we split a breakfast meal and a couple of extra papusas. The food was delicious, tasted fresh and filling. I was especially impressed by how well you could eat as a vegetarian here.

We both left feeling satisfied despite only sharing a plate. It’s a shame the place was cash only and we were low only dollars as I really wanted to try their horchata and some of the refrescos in the fridge.

The place is small with only 3 tables but we managed to secure a place and the guy working there was friendly and prompt.

Will definitely try to check this place out again if I’m coming through Jamaica.

“The best seafood soup I have ever eaten!!! I could not stop raving to my colleagues about this place afterwards. Lots of various seafood items (shrimp, clams, crab, fish) - there was probably 300 g of protein if not 400 g in a delicious broth. Soup came with yellow rice on a side and freshly baked corn tortilla. I have never liked corn tortilla before this one (prefer the ones made from flour). The portion was $20, but it was two lunches for me. It took about 15 minutes to arrive once I placed an order so you need to have at least one hour for this place. I will be going back to try the other menu items.“
