“Hot Space is the place we go for the grilled fish and frogs.

They have the real authentic flavors, that’s all it matters.

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

The waitresses aren’t very attentive so you will have to flag them down and ask them for more rice.“

“Large quantities and yummy food! We got 2 combos for two for 6 ppl and it was more than enough food. We got the classic spice with bean curd and king oyster mushrooms, chicken wings, and pork belly. We also got the tomato soup with fish and beef with lotus root and wide noodles plus milk custard and spicy noodles. Would come again!“

“My family have been regulars for > 8 years. Its authetic Hunan flavors with enough variety for vegetarias and vegans too. Thankfully they are able to tone down the spiciness to the right amount when requested. We have many favorite dishes such as grileed fish with black bean sauce, sizzling beef steak, cumin beef, sauteed eggplant, triple bamboo, cucumber with scallion sauce, tomatoes and eggs, steam dumplings etc. I read some of the negative reviews and i have never experienced any of that. My parents and I come here almost every sunday for the past several months. Food is consistently good, prices are average or better then some of the other restaurants in Flushing. The wait staff are very attentive and nice. The owner always greets us warmly when he sees us. Give it a try !“

“Bean curd dishes are delicious, dry pot is delicious, and boiled noodles are delicious, but this Chongqing spicy noodles are really unpalatable. The soup base is like hot pot base mixed with water, and the noodles are still dried noodles. The whole package of instant noodles is Better than this, why are other dishes so delicious, but this small noodle is so uncomfortable☹️“

“You get a lot of bang for your buck at this place. I ordered the cauliflower dry pot for lunch. It came in a decent portion with complimentary white rice for $13. I would say seeing sausage in the cauliflower dry pot is unusual, but the flavor is not bad. Oddly enough, this place has THE BEST rice texture I’ve had at any Chinese takeout place.“
