It was my worst Mother's Day dinner. The dinner took 2 hours for me to receive my food. My order was not what I ordered. I ordered oxtails with peas & rice. I ordered a large oxtail dinner and I received only 4 oxtails and most of that was bones. I ordered extra gravy on my rice and there was no gravy. I ordered corn bread with my meal and my son's meal and there was no corn bread.

My first experience at Door Restaurant in the borough of Queens....
OMG I tried the Traditional Jamaican Breakfast: Liver, Saltfish, Callaloo, provisions omg. Couldn't eat it all but I killed the Saltfish. Restaurant wasn't crowded. Good service..
I still have enough leftovers for a few more meals 😂😂😂😂

On 4/10/25 at 3:15 pm I visited The Door. I placed my order with an inhospitable person, I asked, how long would it take to receive my order? I was told; it will take 15 minutes. soon it became 25 minutes, then 45 minutes. Then I got so tired. I asked the receptionist how long more should I expect? The answer was a little more. I had to leave because the order took too long. Could they do a little better than that?
