“Unreal coffee! Traditional dark roast Italian coffee. I ordered both espresso then a cappuccino to try both. Also, one of the best cannoli’s I’ve ever had, crisp, not grainy, perfect balance of sugary and cinnamon. Now back to the coffee, perfectly dialed in and balanced shot of espresso. Top it off with attentive customer service!! Will be coming back here as an after lunch date with my wife. Highly recommend this place!“

“Lots of board games, events all the time and very price efficient memberships for regulars. The two private rooms have their own temperature regulation for different preferences and going solo is an option because there’s usually staff open to playing with you, though I highly suggest bringing friends. “The vibe here is so cozy warm and friendly, but it's not the best for settling in and getting work done due to their 90 min policy.

The cafe is spacious and the drinks and pastries are delicious. I wanted to try the famous pistachio croissant but they were out at 2pm! So I got the pistachio muffin on my guy's rec. It's filled with pistachio butter. So delicious, pistachio lover's dream. Their hot chocolate is really rich and chocolatey too, not watery at all.

As for service, the reviews about wanting to be the baristas' best friend are accurate, they are very kind and caring people. The guy who took my order thoughtfully toasted my muffin without me even asking!“

The staff were attentive and kind, which made the experience even better. We only had drinks this time, but everything was excellent—the recommended espresso martini was especially delicious. “Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“The food is absolutely fabulous. It is presented beautifully. We were going to go to the place next door, but due to the wait there, we ended up at Good Thanks. Such a delightful mistake. So much so that we came down again all the way from East Harlem to come back once more before the end of our trip. This is a must visit.“

“I've been to a lot of coffee shops in my life, and this is my favorite. The coffee is good, the service is super fast, and the employees are genuinely nice people.

But what really makes this place special is that it actually feels like a local community spot. There currently are only three people I've ever seen working behind the counter, and it was special to watch them expand from their tiny shop to a larger location.

So many coffee shops feel soulless, but this place is different...You can really tell they care about what they've built here. The design seems so thoughtful – there are these cute cartoon animals on the walls, and Tenz told me they put them there specifically so babies in strollers have something to look at while their parents wait in line. I feel lucky to live near a shop that so much care has been put into!“

“I took a sip of my friend’s strawberry matcha and it was really good. I think it’s on the sweeter side but that’s my preference for matcha. They have a lot of fun flavors like banana matcha and creative ones. If I were to get matcha from somewhere as someone who usually doesn’t like matcha because of the bitterness, I would go here for matcha and to try the different flavors.“

“We were seated in the back at some corner which was pretty uncomfortable to me as I felt claustrophobic there. There was an available table in the front. I asked to be seated there but they couldn’t because “it’s a table for three” and it was two of us. Interestingly, they could seat one person at the table for two and they could seat three persons at the table for four.“

“The jammy eggs are quite literally THE JAM. This spot has little seating but things move pretty quickly. The service was incredible— such kind people who work here. The food was amazing. “I tried the Reuben and the strawberry rose iced matcha. The sandwich was fire, steaming hot and served within minutes, perfect ratio of meat to bread, and the bread itself was fresh and delicious. I could’ve used more sauerkraut but that’s a personal preference.“

“This is hands down the best coffee shop in Bushwick — and I’ve tried just about all of them. The espresso and coffee here are unmatched, which is why I find myself coming back every single morning. Personal fav is the pumpkin spice latte and the mocha latte with an extra espresso shot in each.

While I haven’t tried the food myself (I can’t have gluten), I often tell my friends about this place, and once they go they always rave about how good everything is — so much so that they go regularly on their own.

On top of the coffee, what really sets this place apart is the staff. There’s one girl who’s there every day, and she always brightens my morning with her kindness. I know that sounds corny but they are all genuinely friendly and welcoming and this is a big part of the reason I continue to come back every morning!!“

“Took two trips here on the same day to sample something for brunch and for lunch. For starters, the place is pretty big despite how the place looks from the entrance. The people working behind the counter were pretty cool, service was on point. For breakfast I had the Nutella Custard Croffle and a can of Celsius. The croffle was delightful for sure, pleasing to the taste buds though one small complaint...I don't think croffles are a good base for any sandwich because it was messy eating that, the croffle was kinda all over the place eating it.

Came back here for lunch after a few hours in the gym to order a Mocha Haze Power Smoothie and a Smoked Turkey Croffle. Croffle sandwiches here are delicious as a whole but they are very unstable and can leave a mess so as a note, ALWAYS ask for extra napkins. The smoothie was very good and filling too. I could see myself coming around here a couple more times, trying out as much of their expansive menu as I possibly could.“

“What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“

“The tofu Bánh mì is delicious (get the jalapeños and sriracha!) and portion size is HUGE. 1/2 is basically the size of a normal full size sandwich. The green papaya salad was also bangin’ but I forgot to take a photo. The atmosphere of the place is extremely pleasant - so cozy and really a nice aesthetic. This is a different Bánh mì than any I’ve ever had before, and though it’s not quite authentic/traditional in taste or style, it’s unique and delicious anyway.“
