I found this gem accidentally and I was grateful for finding it. I eat Spanish cuisine on an almost daily basis but I never had Peruvian cuisine. The menu had some familiar dishes, so I was conservative in my order. This is a cozy Peruvian restaurant with a couple of locations in Queens. It is not really for groups, as it is cramped inside and the tables and chairs are packed together making it feel even more cramped.We had several entrees:1) Jalea - A deep fried seafood platter with fish, shrimp, calamari and fried yucca. I went in yesterday for diner with my sister, the food was okay but the rice was cold. The service is not bad, they're attentive. Like many have said 20% tip is included in the bill but staff expects more tip which I find outrageous since it is already included in the bill.
