I got a very fatty piece of pork belly (which is common as it’s a fatty cut) but I did not like it but did not say anything…the waiter noticed something was off and offered to switch it for a better cut! Very kind and attentive. This place is definitely tasty and has many options!“

My favorites were the rice noodle rolls wrapped with tofu, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, carrots and preserved radish, Thai beef stew and the Panang short ribs. The beef stew was SO tender and collagen rich, literally every bite was melt in your mouth. Short ribs, also as expected, tender and flavorful. The Thai ice cream was a perfect finish - sweet toppings, cold coconut ice cream, warm pandan sticky rice - all different flavors and textures but all work together in harmony.“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. “I went to a this deli on my bday trip, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it completely ruined every other deli sandwich for me.

Small place but seriously mighty. No fluff, no gimmicks, just unreal, farm-to-table food done right.

The meatball sandwich? I think about it daily. Perfectly seasoned, rich, and messy in the best way. The kind of sandwich you don’t forget. And the Burrata sandwich was just as incredible, packed with flavor and made with so much care you can taste it in every bite.

“This is a cute little japanese ramen restaurant near Manhasset LIRR station!

I got the spicy miso ramen and the tatsuta-age. The ramen was surprisingly not heavy at all and was on the blander side but I actually liked that a lot. The tatsuta-age was super crispy and tender! The sauce was really unique in a good way. The portions are also HUGE!“

“This is not a place you come to for atmosphere. This is a place for delicious falafel and other Middle Eastern foods, like shakshuka, kibbeh, etc., all vegetarian, since it's kosher dairy. The food is authentic Israeli-style. The staff is friendly, too. I don't wear a yarmulke, my wife doesn't cover her arms, and they serve us, and everyone I've seen walk through the doors with a smile. Good food and civility are universal. “The food was really good but be prepared for an interesting experience. The whole experience was strange. Not good or totally bad. Otherwise we would have walked out but the vibes and the way they ran the place was strange. It could have been the specific day i mean the ac wasn’t working so that’s not their fault or a usual occurrence. However I felt like I was in Europe with the water situation. I’ve never been served cold green tea like it was wine it’s not a negative. They don’t have WiFi so be prepared for that. Then there was the transition for dinner. We came between lunch and dinner so they changed the lighting in the middle of the meal. I don’t mind a little dramatic lighting to set the mood infact I actually love romantic lighting. However there’s a difference between romantic lighting and darkness. If a manager is reading this I recommend getting better table lighting if you are going to turn the lights that low. They also don’t allow outside drinks. We were all going to get cocktails before but we’re kind of put out by not being allowed to bring the lattes inside.
