“Absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant! The food was incredibly flavorful, each dish bursting with deliciousness. “We went to Benny John’s for a nightcap since it was close to our hotel and advertised all day happy hour. The happy hour drink selection is somewhat limited, but they still offer a good variety at a great price. I had the sauvignon blanc & my wife had the sangria. The sauvignon blanc was as expected & sangria was a dry sangria & not overly sweet.
I had the apple cobbler for dessert which is really the reason for my review — and it was delicious. It was served warm and paired with vanilla ice cream.
The staff was pleasant. Overall, a great spot for a casual nightcap and dessert.“

“We stumbled across this place yesterday, we dipped in from the cold for a break and had a pleasant surprise, the staff were so welcoming and made sure we got a seat at the bar... later realised I had read about the bar previously, the hot dogs are a lovely touch and drinks amazing prices. x“

“A very dive-y feel. It was very busy when we went but the bartender was able to give us his proper attention. We ordered a mule & a tequila negroni-- both of which were prepared with good amount ingredients NOT watered down. Good music - a mix of throwback 2000s with current tracks. Price was the same as every other manhattan establishment. Very comfortable.“

“Great new spot for a solid A+ burger. The burger was outstanding super juicy, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients.
The surprise favorite for me was the cucumber salad. It was incredibly fresh, light, and refreshing; the perfect balance to the richness of the burger.
And the mozzarella sticks? Incredible. Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and served piping hot. Easily some of the best I’ve had.
Great food, great service, and a place I’ll definitely be coming back to. Highly recommend! 🍔🥒🧀

“If you happen to be in this area, this is an absolutely wonderful place to spend as much time as you want, especially at the bar. The music is very good, the food is very good, the wine is not bad, and the atmosphere is perfect. The bartender is especially very friendly and welcoming.“

“Friendly staff and bartender. Good drink selection. I don’t even like bars or drinking but this place was cozy. The food was surprisingly really good given that it’s a bar. I got the burger which was juicy and the fries were crispy and hot; chicken bacon sandwich which was amazing. They also did a bingo night which was fun.“

“LOVE this place. I don't come often, but every time I have, I've had a great experience. Chicken fingers are pretty great ?, and bartender Sean (not Shaun or God forbid Shawn ?) is super friendly and makes awesome drinks! I've sat outside, and the service out there is awesome, too! Great vibe, all around. Oh, and the 70's music is outstanding! An extra bonus ? ?“

“Had a terrific lunch here. Some of the best ceviche I've ever eaten. Entrees were excellent and, according to my husband (who's been to Peru), authentic to the spirit of the country. I also got the arroz chufa with steak. Yum! Ample portions and good value. First meal on this trip to NYC and it'll be hard to beat. HIGHLY recommended.“

“Awesome atmosphere and a great draft selection! The appetizers we got were excellent as well! The staff was friendly and had great energy 🩵 would go back in a heartbeat. The only bummer was they didn’t have smaller than 2XL shirts on hand at the time of our visit…I wanted one so bad 😂 Needless to say the shirts are great too! 100/10 recommend 🍻“

“This spot is Legit, new owners are welcoming and friendly. Celebrated a Friend’s birthday and all the staff was very attentive. They even decorated the booth with a Happy birthday sign and some flowers. They have beer buckets, cocktails, and different selection of beer . We had Chicken mofongo as appetizers, just a quick bite . The nachos were complimentary for the tables/ booth. I really enjoyed the hooka “Love”, kitchen closes at 1am . Also, they have a Dj every night , will definitely come back !!“
