“Esteban is THE BEST. The arepas are great, sure. But come and sit down and chat with the owner who will take the best care of you, make you feel like family, and make you laugh a little too. Great little spot in the LES for a late night bite. Don’t sleep on this place!

“This truck is the closest I've come to eating true, authentic Venezuelan food in years. Everything I've had here is fresh and so flavorful, you can tell the ingredients are of the best quality.

Food aside, the people that work it are welcoming and so sweet! If you're not Venezuelan they take the time to walk you through the menu/give recs, and if you are Venezuelan they are a much needed dose of home. Everything is delicious, but the cachapas and tequeños are unreal.

Could no recommend enough!!!!

The food is as close as it can be as to being back home in Venezuela, the arepas, the Pabellón Criollo, I just can’t get enough of it. “Everything was absolutely DECADENT.I ordered their pulled beef bowl as a main it had the perfect mix of fresh greens, savory beans and rice, sweet plantains, refreshing avocado and the sauciest flavorful beef!I got their tequeños and Yucas as starters and they were also so delicious and their sauce paired perfectly.Price is so reasonable for the portions. “The arepa I ordered was delicious. I know it was Pabellón but it was beef, with sweet plantains, cheese and beans. The meat tasted delicious. The lady who helped me was very helpful and friendly. Fast service. The only thing I would recommend to the establishment is to find a way to not feel the smell of the bathroom so much. The rest was excellent.“

“I went to Tozton today to celebrate my birthday after seeing an ad on Tiktok and it was definitely a great decision.

The food was delicious, the sautéed loin, the green noodles, the pavilion, the ground beef cakes and the shredded meat cakes. Natural juices, drinks like margaritas and mojitos; on point, ten out of ten.

The attention of all the waitresses was excellent, they even decorated my table with balloons. Thank you Emily and Natalia for your impeccable service.

It was also easy to find parking near the restaurant. It is very spacious and tables can be organized for large birthday celebrations.

“I will definitely recommend them, wonderful authentic Venezuelan food, the “empanada” took me back to my childhood, the “cachapa” had the best best cheese (queso de mano) I’ve tasted in the USA. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. We were served very quickly. Can’t wait to come back !“

“I ordered Guacamole & Chips as an appetizer, then I ordered the Cheese burger for my meal. The chips were house made, so good & the Guacamole was just how I like it. Not too thick, on the creamy side & I could taste the lemon/lime . The burger was no ordinary burger. It was massive for a great price . Very juicy & EXTREMELY well seasoned in every single bite. I could only finish half but I'm so happy to have left overs . lol They don't have fries and that was kind of disappointing but they do have house fried potatoes which made up for it. They were so good , I didn't even need ketchup . Atmosphere is great, great service, loved it all the way around . Definitely coming back !“

“I’m surprised to see bad reviews for this place. I used to eat at the Essex location often around 2018 and stumbled upon their Queens location the other day and it was just as good as I remembered. On top of that, the staff was super nice, polite and welcoming. I’ll definitely stop by whenever I’m in the area again.“

I went there after giving it a try one day when I was feeling lethargic due to traffic. There is always a lot of cheese in palitos de queso. The cachapa and patacon are also excellent.“
