“Best Hunan chicken I’ve had in Rochester out of at least 10 different Chinese takeout restaurants.

Just the right amount of savory and spicy sauce with the slightest hint of sweetness that pairs perfectly with the stock velveted chicken and tender veggie blend they use.

They often get a little of that charred, caramelized wok hei on the veggies that makes the best stir fry dishes superb. Once you get a bite of it you can’t get enough.

I have had a miss a couple of times, but I’ve gotten takeout here over a hundred so they still get an A+ from me.“

“My go to Chinese since I was a kid! My favorite dish is the simple chicken wing with pork fried rice and load it with their boss sauce on top. I also like their chicken with garlic sauce, pepper steak, and seafood delight!Not in the best of neighborhood. It has gotten it better over the years though.Friendly owner and workers. “I ask the owner Chef what's the best meal between the bourbon chicken and sesame and she said neither i don't eat this food. I ended up getting bourbon and pork fries rice, spring roll with chicken nuggets, the nuggets were horrible take off the menu. Spring roll bad. Rice was good. Parking: There is a parking lot outside of the Chinese food place. Enough to get in and get out. Food is delicious. I got pepper steak with fried rice and egg roll. Hubby got fried fish with shrimp fried rice and egg roll. He said he loved his.Try it you won't be disappointed“

“Superwing been here for years , got food from here as a kid here there , how ever when they change people the food also changes , as long as it's the older ones food will be ok if you see more than a man and woman just know something about to be off . Not sure if the young ones just don't rele care but yea . Def have got my order mixed up a few times , had me upset but set it right just the fact of having to go all the way back 🔙 once in house , esp the veggie rolls ,smh but other that's that over all I give a strong 3 .78 to a 4 .“

“This is got to be Rochester's best kept secret: King Food Restaurant. The food there is great, fast service and very politely and professionally attended. You will get plenty of food at a reasonable price. The attending ladies will greet you with a smile and ensure they get your order correct every time. “This is my 2nd review of China Wok, they are just SO GOOD and consistent that I thought they deserved it! I hadn’t visited them since late last summer, and was wondering if it was still THE place to go for Chinese, or if that had changed…Well I’m happy to say that it hasn’t changed, the same people own and run the place, and the food is still GREAT! I usually get the chicken egg foo yung dinner (see photos) and I actually get 2 meals from 1 order because you get SO MUCH FOOD!
As you can see by the photos, it looks like quite a large plate, certainly VERY filling, but what you don’t know is that THIS IS ONLY 1/2 OF THE FOOD THAT YOU GET! And VERY REASONABLE when it comes to price…As a matter of fact l, there are over 10 dinner combinations that you can order, and they are all just over $10…Where else can you get so much and pay so little?? And the family that owns and runs it are GENUINELY SO NICE AND APPRECIATIVE, they literally light up when they see you!! I don’t go anywhere else! Try it SOON!!

“I was craving for hot soup in cold winter Rochester weather and tom yum seafood soup did the trick. It was deliciously perfectly spiced.

Service was great, no difficulties communicating with staff, and the food was better than expected at a good price point. “If you're not a local its very hard to even notice this place exists. Their food is always delicious and one of the best asian food spots in the inner city. I've never had an issue with their service. Their biggest problem is their location. The business windows look stained and gray. You walk inside and think you just broke into an abandoned building. You talk to the cashier through a tiny hole in a wall maybe the size of a square foot. The rest of the counter is boarded up with plywood. Graffiti is all over the walls and tiles are missing or cracked. This is the kind of place where you go with a friend so they can watch the door in case someone decides to mug you. I'd advise against ordering and waiting there. Definitely pre order so you can be in and out.“

But, I ordered today and it was great. Really actually quite perfect. I got the Tofu Homestyle and a lunch portion of vegetable Egg Foo Young. To be honest, I don't think it could have been done better. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. I went around noon on Wednesday.“

The crab ragoons are delicious and triangle folded and not pinched in 4 corners so they’re nice and fluffy and crispy. Today I ordered the chicken with broccoli and the house special soup, and I have to say it was an amazing experience. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, paired with fresh and well-seasoned broccoli.
