“The food was ok. I ordered the General Chao's Chicken with vegetable dried rice and shrimp eggrolls. I thought the rice could've been a little better but it was acceptable. The rice grains were bloated on the outside and a little undercooked on the inside but the price is good!“

Some of the menu items may be considered less intuitive to understand but the staff is happy to explain the difference between the options. Order at the counter for takeout or they bring it to your table in the smallish cafe seating. I return often!“

“My go to Chinese since I was a kid! My favorite dish is the simple chicken wing with pork fried rice and load it with their boss sauce on top. I also like their chicken with garlic sauce, pepper steak, and seafood delight!Not in the best of neighborhood. It has gotten it better over the years though.Friendly owner and workers. “After a long day at the Rochester General Hospital, was craving some Chinese food. While it's definitely tailored to American Chinese, it was very good and affordable compared to what I get in Seattle. Large portion sizes and free steamed rice with most dishes! Please note that they don't have indoor seating, it's take away only.

We ordered the home style garlic sauce tofu and human chicken. Both were served with a large (to me) size steamed rice. Full of vegetables and sauce.

Definitely recommend and we will be back for more. We are curious about the chicken and bananas 😆“

Had salt/pepper squid, shrimp dumplings, shu mai, beef tripe and eggplant with shrimp! We drive there from North Country in Central NY because Syracuse doesn’t have authentic Dim Sun!“

Parking: There is a parking lot outside of the Chinese food place. Enough to get in and get out. Food is delicious. I got pepper steak with fried rice and egg roll. Hubby got fried fish with shrimp fried rice and egg roll. He said he loved his.Try it you won't be disappointed“

“No frills takeout place. I actually walked in because the food smelled so good from the outside as I was walking to the Dollar Tree next door. Service was great, no difficulties communicating with staff, and the food was better than expected at a good price point. They have a few menu items not typical of American Chinese food that I’m curious to try in the near future. Will definitely go again.“

“This is my 2nd review of China Wok, they are just SO GOOD and consistent that I thought they deserved it! I hadn’t visited them since late last summer, and was wondering if it was still THE place to go for Chinese, or if that had changed…Well I’m happy to say that it hasn’t changed, the same people own and run the place, and the food is still GREAT! I usually get the chicken egg foo yung dinner (see photos) and I actually get 2 meals from 1 order because you get SO MUCH FOOD!
As you can see by the photos, it looks like quite a large plate, certainly VERY filling, but what you don’t know is that THIS IS ONLY 1/2 OF THE FOOD THAT YOU GET! And VERY REASONABLE when it comes to price…As a matter of fact l, there are over 10 dinner combinations that you can order, and they are all just over $10…Where else can you get so much and pay so little?? And the family that owns and runs it are GENUINELY SO NICE AND APPRECIATIVE, they literally light up when they see you!! I don’t go anywhere else! Try it SOON!!

This is a take out only which I love. Ordered the House special Rice Noodles. It took 15 minutes which is fine. Came out super hot, took to my hotel and chowed down. So good,, lots of different meats and sea food, not greasy. Next time I would order the Singapore version which has yellow curry.“

“I've eaten at Chef King on and off for over 20 years. For me it's almost always great. I was a little leery about ordering again seeing a few recent not-so-great reviews. But, I ordered today and it was great. Really actually quite perfect. I got the Tofu Homestyle and a lunch portion of vegetable Egg Foo Young. To be honest, I don't think it could have been done better. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. I went around noon on Wednesday.“

“Me and my spouse order Yummy Yummy all the time, it’s our favorite Chinese takeout we’ve had since moving here in the summer. The hours don’t seem to be correct, on UberEats you can order by almost 11 at the latest, so it’s open pretty late. The food is amazing, I’m personally obsessed with the fried wontons and sweet and sour chicken, and I think their chicken noodle soup actually healed my spouse when they were sick lol. “It's an alright chinese restaurant. Real selling point is they're open after 7 downtown, which is more than can be said for literally any other "restaurant" that proposes to exist.

The food's just ok, but it's fine, the folks are friendly enough if you talk to them. There was a problem the other day where the card machine wasn't working -- it put two holds on my card! The consequence being that I couldn't pay with the card, and due to the holds I couldn't withdraw money to pay. But they gave me the food on credit, I just came back the next day and was able to pay with my card and retrieve the failure receipts to show my bank -- the holds were gone within a few days anyway.“

“We order weekly and have it delivered to the office. Food is always hot and tasty, no complaints from anyone here. They did miss an egg roll one time but it was a large order so I didn't worry about it. They're also good about special requests.

About the Chow Mein... It's not what you get anywhere else, and they will call and confirm if it gets ordered. Basically cabbage, onion and boiled chicken in a clear sauce? It's not bad, just not what you're expecting.“
