Living Roots Rochester Wineries • $$
1255 University Ave, Rochester

“We really enjoyed our stop at Living Roots (Urban Winery). Nestled in an area with some restaurants and local breweries, this was our favorite stop during our trip. The architecture of the building is cool, the staff was excellent and the wines we had were great (Nero)! The do not have a full menu, but did offer snacks. The popcorn and chips were both good. The bread was top notch and worth the trip alone lol!The layout is inviting we an "L" shaped bar area and plenty of tables. We also noticed a small private room they must have available for special events too. We did like the vibe and would definitely stop again when we are back in the area!HINT:Note that you do need a code to the door for the bathroom which was spacious and very clean.“

Aldaskeller Wine Co. Wineries •
289 Gregory St, Rochester

“This, right here, is a lovely establishment. I've always been more of a beer guy and find wine to be a little overwhelming at times, but the crew at Aldaskeller basically never misses with a recommendation. I've taken to trusting them with my beverage fate whether I'm looking for a backyard sipper or a food accompaniment. Definitely takes the cake in ROC for selection as far as natty wines go, so there's something for every mood and occasion. The Saturday tastings are also a nice touch :)“

Seed + Stone Cidery & Lucky Buzz Meadery Cideries •
1115 E Main St, Rochester

“Came to try something new different than a craft brewery or winery. Having never tried cider or mead my wife and I were pleasantly surprised. We ordered a flight of ten to try them all. Matt who is one of the owners walked us thru all of them and all the nuisances. We will definitely be going back! The bonus was they are a part of the BeerPass program which provides a free drink every day at participating establishments.“

Lost Vineyards Wineries •
1143 Lexington Ave, Rochester

“Lost Vineyards distributes a delicious organic Rosso wine that goes great with meals and has a great taste which doesn't mess up the blood sugar. It is of the TreeHugger brand, and is made in Italy from organic red grapes, and has no added sulfites nor other preservatives. I've been drinking it for four years now, and is by far the best red I have ever tasted. crisp, dry, and yet full. At $8 a bottle, it is an incredible value, especially given that I live in Southern California!!“

Mayer's Cider mill Winery Brewery Wineries
699 Five Mile Line Rd, Webster

“Delicious variety of ciders and tasty boneless wings! We were the only guests when we went and it was the most intimate date night out we'd ever had. Krista was very kind, friendly, and attentive. The interior of the space is rustic and the bar itself is gorgeous. Krista sent us home with the unsold donuts for the night and our kids loved that the next morning. Amazing that it's been there for 187 years and we just discovered it! Can't wait to go back again, and highly recommend.“
