“Most of the Area baby boomer cut our drinking teeth at the Post. I remember Larry behind the bar, always a great venue for the up & coming local bands. Pool Foose ball and an occasional trip to the porch! still to this day when I travel back to visit Rome Its my Go to spot to enjoy good folks and good music !“

“Fantastic food, a classic hole-in-the-wall type diner, decor hadn’t been updated for a bit but just added to the character of the place. Overall a great experience we will be back again next vacation! Server recommended the eggs Benedict special they had and I couldn’t have been happier with it. Delicious!“

“IT can be noisy. Not the noise level of these obnoxious chain restaurants. The food, and service was great, as I took a very tall gal, to Teddy's on a date. We had a great time, and were seated promptly. The service staff, did not rush us nor were the meals delivered, right after the appetizers as many chain restaurants do to service as many customers as possible.
We also chose Teddy's Restaurant, as we live close by, and had no need to drive there. The other option was a restaurant on North James street. Prices are about the same.
I had the broiled Haddock. Delicious. She had the Big Daddy Chicken sandwich. Italian nachos, was our appetizer. We shared a slice of carrot cake. Delicious.
I just wonder if Teddy's, would serve more people, if it located onto Chestnut street near Griffiss business park. Everything, as gar as jobs, the Copper City is receiving, ends-up on Griffiss.“

“My family and I went to The Franklin Hotel one night for dinner. We were in Rome, NY due to Capitolfest. Everything was delicious from the soft bread and butter to the gnocchi with basil cream sauce to the vanilla cannoli! The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend The Franklin Hotel if you are in Rome, NY!“

“Food is always great but some nights they seem understaffed. They have forgotten our utensils before and someday its just takes a bit of a wait. The waiting staff is great, they just need more help do to the fact they are running in circles non stop.“

“We were in Rome for a hockey tournament and stopped for a late lunch. The sandwiches and service were both fantastic. My son left his phone at the restaurant and didn't realize until we were almost home two hours away. The GM mailed the phone back to us so we wouldn't have to drive back. Thank you so much!“
