“We adore this place! Everything is wonderful. The wines and the cheeses are great. The vinter, Jeannie is friendly and has interesting stories. There's a wonderful fireplace inside and outdoor chairs and tables with a view of Cayuga Lake.“

“My husband and I relocated from the city about a year ago and have truly been embracing wine country. We’ve been to some really amazing wineries but this one goes to the top of the list! We went for a tasting yesterday and had a wonderful time. The staff are so lovely, welcoming and knowledgeable. Our favorite staff member was Ham, resident canine who was beyond adorable. The wine is top of the line. I can honestly say there was not one we didn’t love and left with 20 bottles. But I would recommend not leaving without their Sparkling Brut and Ruby Port. We enjoyed delicious bread and cheese with our tasting as well as a basket of French fries that were the best I’ve ever had. It’s clear these people know how to do it right. We will definitely be returning. This winery was referred to us by our neighbors who go there for a monthly dinner they offer and rave about so we will be trying that as well. Like I said they do it right!!“

“My husband and I have visited the Fingerlakes Wine region for many years, but have yet to visit Scout Vineyards. The owner told us it was newer - established in 2020. The winery is small and reservations are recommended. My family happened to hit the timing perfectly and we were able to be seated for a tasting at one of the three tables. The list of five - six wines is very white wine-heavy. Although I am normally a red wine drinker, I thoroughly enjoyed the whites. The chardonnay was crisp, and it was an interesting experience tasting the 2021 and 2022 Reislings side-by-side. The tasting was fifteen dollars and you got a plate of locally-made eats: fresh baguettes and dried fruit. The owner even gave my five and seven-year-old their own food plate to nosh on while my husband and I tasted the wines. The owner was very nice and extremely professional. Bottles of wine to purchase range in the 20-30 dollar range. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We will certainly be back.“

“This place was wonderful, filled with many charming areas, the wine and beer was really good and the staff were kind and accommodating and talented. We were there for the eclipse and it was the perfect setting. We will definitely come back when we are in the area. Big recommend. Do the four flights! “This was the friendliest place we have come across in the region. The bartender, the sister and daughter of the two brewers, was knowledgeable about all the brews. Our two pups were more than welcome. The food was an excellent treat. I can't speak highly enough of the pepper bacon jam. The beer spanned a nice range and had an excellent taste. Our party of 4 sampled each pour and none disappointed.“

“This marked our 10th and final stop together, a brewery I had been eager to visit during our trip to the Finger Lakes. I'm delighted that we managed to include it on our itinerary on the very first full day of our exploration. Upon arrival, we found ourselves in what appeared to be a spacious garage. Inside, we were greeted by a decently sized area. We opted for a flight of beers to sample. Among them, the Peanut Butter Stout stood out to me as particularly enjoyable. Additionally, the Hazy IPA left a lasting impression, while my wife relished a delightful Strawberry Kölsch. However, it was the Peanut Butter Stout that truly captured my taste buds--I dare say it's the best stout I've ever had, despite not typically being a stout enthusiast. Naturally, I couldn't resist purchasing a 4-pack to take home with me. Our timing couldn't have been better; we arrived when the atmosphere was serene and tranquil. Without a doubt, this brewery ranked as the highlight of our Finger Lakes brewery tour thus far. Considering we've explored around 10 different breweries during our trip, that's certainly saying something.“

“We've enjoyed Blackduck Cidery every summer for several years now. The owners knowledge of cider and the story of how the cidery came to fruition is a reason alone to stop by for a visit. They have several types; some dry ciders, some perry's, some still, some sparkling but all delicious and true to the heritage of cidery.(sidra)We'll be visiting soon and hope you're well stocked with bottles to go.“

“This vineyard is really special. It is truly family-run and operated, and the family is lovely, hospitality is clearly in their DNA. We took a tour, which was led by the owner, started with glasses of sparkling wine, and included him pouring us a glass directly out of the barrel - see picture for evidence! :) We had a charcuterie board with our wine tasting which was amazing, as were the wines! The views are beautiful, it’s right on the lake. The indoor space is also cozy and thoughtfully designed. You would be missing out not to stop by this vineyard while you’re in Finger Lakes.“

“The server was nice but could not operate the wood burner appropriately, so the place was filled with smoke. The beer was delicious, though. We did a flight. The only terrible one was the gluten-free option. The Amber was a super well-balanced, perfect mid-strength beer. We scored a growler of that to take back to our little lakeside cabin. 1 extra star for them trying their best to fix the smokiness.“

“Dry Rose 2022 was (is) a great wine for sharing over a friendly brunch with friends. No matter how particular and fussy some people are about what they consider to be "good" wine or proper pairings (not that they are all that expert!), everyone enjoyed and filled their glass for a second time (and a couple for a third!). Good thing I had bottles in reserve! A very friendly and enjoyable wine that complemented without competing with brunch. A good choice.“

“I wish they were open during winter! There's something about how they make their ice cream that is quite special. One must be the quality of dairy and ingredients they use. They don't put in excessive sugar; you can taste the underlying flavors of the ingredients. They had a massive flavor menu. It rotates, seasonally. What am I partial to? Ginger, Lavender, Strawberry, Jalepeno Popper, Cinnamon, Gianduia, Butter Pecan, Pistachio, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Apple Spice, Rum Raisin, Tiramisu, Eggnog. You can ask them to pack pints for you to take home. But there's a possibility you might just eat it all in one go. Their parking lot was still gravel the last time I was there. There is some seating both inside and outside.“
