“The best jelly donuts on LI for sure. Dunkin’ Donuts doesn’t even put an ounce of jelly in theirs. They put in 1/2 cup! Yummy! Their bread is of Arthur Avenue quality. “I walked by at 5:52 on my way to the 6am train, saw four people inside, and kept going. I realized I wanted the 6:07 so I went back and ordered a tea, sausage egg cheese, and croissant. I was still standing on the platform with everything in hand by 5:59am, hot and delicious.“

“I had a good breakfast experience here while making my way to the gate to catch a flight. I had the Bacon Sunrise Bagel and it was delicious. They don't have a huge menu and what they do have is very good and hits the spot when heading to catch your flight. They also have plenty of snacks and beverages available.“

“The young man working here was very accommodating and made me feel welcome. He put together two sandwiches for me that were delicious; an egg everything bagel with cream cheese, lox, tomato and onion to share. Came with a side salad. Chose the cucumber salad which was fantastic. Was so good I decided to try a Greek omelette on a sesame oat bagel. Excellent as well. Prices reasonable and not ridiculous like other places. Proof that how friendly and helpful you are to customers makes a huge difference.“

“We were so excited to see a Brendel's in Selden! We would travel to the Hauppague location because it's our favorite bagel/breakfast/lunch spot. Now, we get the same fresh, delicious options closer to home. The decor is beautiful, store is always spotless (bathroom is the cleanest public restroom I've ever seen!), staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I even tried the acai bowls and smoothies too and they were delish! Cream cheese options are endless and salads always fresh and delish!
