“This place was AMAZING! I never came here before they renovated, but the interior is so beautiful and well thought out, so great job to them! The environment, the staff, the FOOD! Absolutely no notes.

We had a variety of amazing apps (not pictured). Started with the tuna tartar, meatballs (10/10 wish I had a second order of them), and the garlic bread sticks. Everything was cooked so well, while presentation was just as great.

Next the dinner. We had a steak, the pork shank, a salad, and a surf and turf (off menu) that was a full steak with clam stuffed shrimp. Steaks were perfectly medium rare and tender, the pork shank was so tender it was falling off the bone (in the best way), and even the simple salad was fresh and tasty.

Now the dessert. Everything is made by either the head chef, the soup chef, or the waitress. Each one is better than the next. Personal favorite: the dark chocolate cake. My girlfriend, who hates coconut, tried the coconut cream pie and said "wow. I might like coconut now". Her personal favorite is the bread pudding bites.

After dinner we sat at the bar and had a couple drinks while chatting with the bartender, who is so attentive and friendly! Lots of regulars and locals here, but it's part of what made the whole evening so lovely! We will DEFINITELY be back!“

“Upscale but not too posh place in Greenwich with a menu that will please almost everyone! It was our first time in the area and this place stood out. The staff was very friendly and food was very good. We didn’t get any starters and I ordered the pork cooked well done so it took a while to get our food, that’s not a complaint just a warning. I would recommend getting a starter, especially if you are drinking because my margarita was stiff! Wish they had some mocktails. It’s a lovely place. Great place for a date night.

Vegetarian options: They had multiple non-meat forward dishes, tofu, mushroom. Etc.

Dietary restrictions: The chef was extremely accommodating to an onion allergy.“

We have had 5 outstanding experiences at this new French establishment... everything is delicious --duck confit salad to foi gras to chicken liver pate` to roasted beet salad to salmon tartare... the steak frites and hamburger are the BEST around!  The menu changes and reflects the great care that goes into each dish. The sides are also fantastic!  Brussels, broccoli, and macaroni gratines, the fries in duck fat are INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!  Wine selection, too, is excellent. “From Westchester Foodies on FB: I have been meaning to give some love to Aires de Colombia on Post Road where nearly nine years ago, fresh off the plane from California, mom to an eight month old and recently discovering a hitchhiker in my belly + feeling homesick for warmth of any kind… I drove to the place with the Colombian flag that I had passed many times on Post Road. That day the snow was piled so high that I could barely access the meter. I ordered a sancocho/oxtail soup and a bowl of chocolate/Colombian hot cocoa. Both were warm,delicious and familiar. Everything I needed to make me feel less freezing and reduce my sadness about leaving California. I am not sure why I never returned, although we did order pick up a few times, but I am in that area a lot and had told (my friend) Nicole, who lives nearby that we should try it together soon. Yesterday, I was in the area and the planets aligned because when I called Nicole to ask if she was down for lunch in 10 minutes at the Colombian, she said yes! The restaurant looks mostly the same, but with fresh paint, but it feels like a real Colombian place. They cater to Colombians here. They aren’t trying to be everything to everyone. I took a risk and ordered Mondongo/tripe soup. This is usually a dish you order when you know it is going to be good. I did not and thank goodness the reward was worth the risk. The mondongo was the soup special of the day and at mere $7! … I want to try every other soup on the menu starting with the oxtail soup. Nicole and I had them split one guanabana juice into two glasses and it was sooo good. They have three or four tropical fruit smoothies on their menu that they blend up to order using frozen fruit pulp. I believe you can sweeten the juice to your liking as the pulps are unsweetened fruit. Smoothie is not really the right name as these are comprised of fruit pulp, or water and sugar. Nicole ordered the mini bandeja paisa, a dish that is native to Antioquia in Colombia. It was the breakfast or lunch of ranchers that was meant to pack the calories for a long day on your feet.“
